About this trip

Mont Toubkal (4167m) is the highest mountain in North Africa. The hike to the top is tough, but it doesn't require any mountaineering experience. The start of the hike only a few hours drive from Marrakech (1h30min), you can reach the top and come back within 2 days and still have time to explore the "red" city.

Day 1:
Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge.

Meet in the morning in Marrakech. Transfer to the small village of Imlil, we begin our trek by going up the valley to the Sidi Chamarouch sanctuary which attracts tourists and pilgrims who come to visit it for treatment. From there, the trail continues to climb steadily, winds and zigzags to the Toubkal refuge (3206m), our stop for the night.
