The Ancestral Titicaca Tour: Uros, Amantaní, and Taquile 2D/1N is a unique experience that will allow you to discover the magic of Lake Titicaca and learn about the ancestral traditions of its communities. For two days, you will explore the impressive floating islands of the Uros, share special moments with a local family on Amantaní, and explore the traditional island of Taquile, surrounded by unique natural landscapes and the vastness of the highest navigable lake in the world.

This trip combines nature, culture, and community, giving you the opportunity to participate in traditional activities, savor local cuisine, and learn about Quechua and Aymara customs.

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel around 7:00 a.m. (provided it's located in a central area; otherwise, a nearby meeting point will be provided). Afterward, you'll meet the rest of the group to board the transportation and begin the excursion.

We will sail to the traditional floating islands of the Uros, where we will learn about the way of life, customs, and crafts of this community.

Optionally, we can take a ride on the traditional totora reed boats.

We will continue our boat trip to Amantaní Island, enjoying the scenery of Lake Titicaca.

We will be welcomed by local families and enjoy a typical lunch.

In the afternoon, we will hike to one of the island's ceremonial temples. From there, we can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the lake and the sunset.

We will return to the family home for dinner and then participate in a cultural activity with traditional music and dances.

Breakfast at the host family's home and farewell.

We will depart for Taquile Island, once again enjoying the scenery of Lake Titicaca.

We will take a walk along the island's trails and learn about its customs, traditions, and renowned textile production.

We will begin our return trip by boat to the port of Puno.
