OBSERVATION PROBABILITIES
Galapagos sharks, white and black tip sharks, sea turtles, dolphins, sea lions, starfish, sea urchins, various species of fish, blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, pelicans, and frigate birds.
ITINERARY
All passengers must arrive at the agency at 8:40 in the morning, where we will prepare all the snorkeling equipment, which includes fins, mask, snorkel.
We head to the port of Santa Cruz to board a coastal boat and head towards La Lobería (small islet located 10 minutes from the port), where we do the snorkeling activity in which there is the possibility of swimming with sea lions.
Then we move to Punta Estrada to watch birds such as: blue-footed boobies, seagulls and pelicans. In this place we will enjoy a snorkeling activity to see species such as sea lions, rays, and reef sharks.
Afterwards we will have an activity that consists of an excursion to Dog Beach where we can find marine iguanas around an area of volcanic rocks and sesuvium. Likewise, we continue towards the Love Channel and Shark Channel, in the latter we can spot blue sharks.
Then we will visit Las Grietas, water channels in the middle of volcanic depressions to do a snorkeling activity.
The return to the port is at approximately 12:30 p.m. depending on ocean conditions.
CONDITIONS
* This tour can also be done in the afternoon, starting at 2:00 p.m. and returning to the port at approximately 5:00 p.m.
*This itinerary is subject to change at the discretion of the Galapagos National Park and your naturalist guide. For example, if I make the reservation for 8:40 a.m. there may be a sudden change to the 2:00 p.m. time and return to port at 5:00 p.m. depending on ocean conditions. We take security seriously and always strive to provide you with the best and safest experience.
*In light of the pandemic, we will implement strict cleaning policies. Each piece of equipment will be fully sanitized between uses, and the agency and boat will be cleaned daily. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times.
