Embark on an unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca and discover two of its most iconic islands: Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun) and Isla de la Luna (Island of the Moon). During this day trip from Copacabana, you'll explore ancient temples, ceremonial trails, and Andean landscapes steeped in history and spirituality. Accompanied by a guide, you'll explore sites connected to the Inca worldview while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the world's highest navigable lake.
08:00 We meet at the main port of Copacabana, where we will begin our lake journey in a motorized boat to the southern part of the mythical Island of the Sun.
We arrive at the dock where we begin an ascending walk up the Inca Staircase, a hydraulic structure with ceremonial fountains. We visit the Inca Garden and the Fountain of the Three Waters, elements linked to the mythical origin of the Inca Empire.
We board the boat to continue the journey to the mystical Island of the Moon, also known as Coati. This island is less crowded, but it holds fundamental spiritual importance in the Andean worldview.
You will have time to walk along the island's trails, take panoramic photos of the lake, and observe the tranquility of the natural surroundings. The serenity of the place allows for a unique spiritual connection.
We begin our return journey by boat to Copacabana, once again enjoying the views offered by the majestic Lake Titicaca.
We finish the tour at the port of Copacabana.
