DAY 02

The tour guide meets you at 6:00 a.m. at your hotel and takes you in search of your target bird and new species, since the Cloud Forest is home to its own Resident Species. Your guide spends a total of 3 hours with you in the forest, walking trails and spotting as many birds and wildlife as possible. The tour guide will walk back to the hotel at 9:00 am, approximately, and those who want to go back for breakfast, they can. 

There is a 2 km trail that you can do if you feel like spending more time birding the trails. It's self-guided and you go at your own pace. Make sure you advise the group if you decide to go so we know where everyone is at all times.

 7:00 pm Your guide picks you up at your hotel and takes you through their forest trails in search of the night creatures. It's a 3-hour experience where, hopefully, you are lucky and the night creatures come out and show their beauty. Most of the time they see night birds, serpents, spiders, orchids and the experience of being out there in the wild. The temperatures could go down to 21 degrees or a bit less sometimes, so don't forget a second layer and a raincoat, as the rain is unpredictable.
