About this trip
Hannah and Emily of Trailbreaker are thrilled to offer our second wellness/adventure retreat in 2024! We look forward to hosting a new group of inspiring, open hearted people in our beautiful Alaska home. We want to take you hiking, kayaking, and camping. We want to feed you wonderful local food prepared by dear friends, chat around the beach bonfire and drink lattes on the porch in our pjs. We want to practice mindfulness and yoga with you, walk through the misty forest looking for otters and listening to ravens. We want to talk with you about your biggest challenges, hold space for you, and find solutions through building relationships and sharing ideas. We want you to prioritize yourself for a long weekend in nature, and leave here feeling full of motivation and hope.
What’s included
- LodgingChalet by the sea. See and hear the ocean day and night with a one of a kind breathtaking view.
- All MealsWe have a private chef to prepare and adjust food to all needs. Local foods (think seafood, ethical farming) from inspiring small businesses made with love. Farm to table event included.
- AdventuresKayaking, guided hikes, whale watching, etc.
- Wellness ActivitiesMindfulness, Yoga, Sound Therapy, Guided Discussions
- Borrow GearIf you need something specific to stay comfortable in Alaska, we will do our best to find it for you so you don't need to purchase something you'll only use once.
- AnimalsWe're animal people and we hope you are too! Our pets will be coming along for some adventures and to snuggle at the air bnb. If you wish to bring along YOUR non human companion, please reach out .
- Trail Breaker SCHWAGWe plan to spoil you with some items to use during the retreat and some to bring home to remember us!
- CommunityWe work hard to provide an environment of emotional safety and foster friendships, so you leave with something priceless
What’s not included
- Float Plane Trip/BearsIf you wish to participate in a once in a lifetime trip with Kodiak Island Experditions to Katmai National Park (you really should), you will pay Jen and WIlly directly. This cost is not included.
- MassageWe plan to bring a massage therapist to the chalet. If you wish to have a massage you will the therapist directly
Available Packages
This includes a queen room in a separate bedroom all to yourself! There is a shared bathroom in the same hallway.
This, of course, also includes everything else that we will experience during the retreat! All meals, wellness activities, transportation once you reach the island, and group adventures. If you require any special accommodations for meals or activities, we will do whatever we can to help with no change in price.
This includes a private room with a single bed or the 3rd floor themed room with lots of windows! There are shared bathrooms throughout the house.
This, of course, also includes everything else that we will experience during the retreat! All meals, wellness activities, transportation once you reach the island, and group adventures. If you require any special accommodations for meals or activities, we will do whatever we can to help with no change in price.
This cute room is close to the kitchen and has 2 single beds.
