DAY 2: Depart early morning after breakfast at 0730hrs passing by a local grocery store to buy food supplies and drinks for your stay at Ithumba Hill Camp. Ithumba Hill is one of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s newest retreats home to both large elephant herds wallowing in the mud, foster parents also have special access to the SWT’s Ithumba Reintegration Unit, where they can have a firsthand look at rehabilitating orphaned elephants. The baby orphaned elephants are rescued from different parks and parts of the country where they are first taken to the Nairobi Sheldrick Wildlife Trust nursery, they are later on transferred to the Ithumba reintegration unit where they will be slowly reintroduced back to the wild. Here we get to meet some of the old and stronger orphaned baby elephants that were sent from the nursery in Nairobi, we also get to meet the new ones and also get closer to some of the wild ones that occasionally come to the watering hole. You get to touch the orphaned baby elephants; this is the only place in the world to experience this. Lunch at Ithumba Hill Camp. After lunch, we will have another evening feeding visit at the paddocks to see the baby elephants. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: Depart early morning at 0600hrs to visit the orphaned baby elephants feeding at the paddocks, returning to the camp for breakfast. Mid-morning at 1100hrs visit the mud bath with no barricades or fences and enjoy watching the elephants mud bathing. We drive back later on to the camp for lunch. We will have another Evening visit at 1700hrs to the paddocks, returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: Early morning at 0600hrs we visit the paddocks to enjoy watching the baby orphaned elephants feeding and returning to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast we check out with packed lunch boxes, passing by the mud bath at mid-morning to see the baby elephants one last time. Afterward, we drive to Amboseli National Park with a game drive en route to the Lodge. Check-in at Ol Tukai Lodge late evening for dinner. Amboseli National Park is in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro's snowy peaks, standing at 5,895 meters. This park's 1800-plus elephants have been recorded and studied since the 1970s by Cynthia Moss's legendary Elephant Trust. Witness the incredible variety of wildlife communing as one here, including giraffes, zebra, Cape buffalo, cheetahs, and hundreds of indigenous bird species. Overnight at Ol Tukai Lodge. DAY 5: Our day begins at 0600hrs with an early game drive, then breakfast at the lodge; followed by a mid-morning excursion to the local Masai village. Once there we will learn more about their daily lives and may offer donations of supplies to the only primary school in that area. Return to the lodge for buffet lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive, then dinner at 1845 hrs.

DAY 6: Breakfast at 0615hrs and check out of the lodge by 0730hrs to head for the Tanzanian border, where our guide will assist us through the immigration process and on to the Capital city of Tanzania - Arusha, where we will check into the Arusha Coffee Lodge, followed by lunch (on own account). We are so fortunate to then have a guided tour of the coffee farm. Visit the SHANGA HOUSE sheltered workshop at the coffee lodge for shopping opportunities. Dinner (on own account).

DAY 7: After breakfast you will depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing by Lake Manyara National Park and viewing the Tanzanian town life, and countryside. We arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge in time for lunch, then feel free to relax by the pool before dinner.

DAY 8: We have an early breakfast, followed by a full-day game drive with our picnic lunch boxes at the Ngorongoro Caldera. This extinct volcano stretches 10-12 miles and was thought to have been formed 2.5 million years ago when an active volcano's cone collapsed inwardly. It is home to the rare black rhino, elephants, leopards, and the densest population of lions anywhere on our last safari there we encountered 6 male lions in one day incredible.

DAY 9: After a hearty breakfast we depart with our lunches packed for Northern Serengeti National Park, the oldest park in Tanzania, whose eco-system supports more than three million large safari mammals. Game drive en route passing through the Great Rift Valley and some of the Masai communities to the Serengeti wilderness camp. Check-in late evening at Serengeti Wilderness camp for dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: After breakfast, we will carry our packed lunches to allow us the entire day exploring the beauty and magic of the Serengeti National Park, which covers 14,763 square kilometers of rolling hills and grasslands where we may begin to see signs of the legendary Great Migration of animals from Tanzania to Kenya. Where there are plains animals, there are those who thrive on them, including black-maned lions, spotted and striped hyenas, and cheetahs, and the ever- elusive leopards. Dinner will be back at the lodge after our amazing adventure.

DAY 11: We depart after breakfast for the local airstrip for two short chartered flights, exiting Tanzania and crossing back through at the Kenyan border immigration site. Once in Kenya, we head to their most famous safari park, the Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge. We spend the next two days witnessing two million wildebeest and zebra searching out the best grasslands for grazing following the rains and risking survival from predators, including the cunning crocodile. Our trip here is timed to witness the Great Migration from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara during its peak. The homeland of the Masai tribe, the Mara is known for its stunning photographic backdrops.

DAY 12: We start early in the Mara with a 0615hrs game drive the best time to see the big cats on the prowl no wonder the BBC wildlife channel's Big Cat Diary is filmed here! Time will be provided during the day for your leisure and to fully enjoy the lodge and adjoining grounds before our evening game drive.

DAY 13: After breakfast at the lodge, we check out with a game drive en route to the local airstrip for a chartered, in-country flight at 1115hrs, arriving in Nairobi at 1300hrs. Lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden is included in the safari fee. After lunch, a shopping opportunity at a local mall time permitting. Transit back to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport international terminal for your flight back home.
