Royal Expeditions is a luxury, boutique in-bound operator in India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. Founded in 1993 by the Princess of Jodhpur who was a Member of Parliament for over 20 years and the Minister of Culture for the country. (her brother is the Maharaja of Jodhpur and well known in the international arts community.) The Managing director, vishal Singh, is a founding and current board member of TOFT, (Tour Operators for Tigers), and a wildlife expert. Since its inception, Royal Expeditions has customized unique itineraries for politicians, dignitaries, royal families and travelers with discerning tastes, including BBC documentary film maker, Michael Palin. Royal Expeditions prides itself on creating unique trips tailored to travelers’ personal interests and delivering flawless service with great attention to detail.

This trip involved visiting religious sites and festivals in Varanasi, and northern India. This required much coordination for drivers of three vehicle vehicles, air flights and lodging. This all went off without a flaw. The drivers were all excellent polite and accommodating.
I also had a medical emergency on this trip, which could not have been handled any better. I sincerely appreciate all their efforts and helping me with this situation.

Royal Expeditions was exceptional! The trip was well organized with lovely accommodations. The transfers and drivers were wonderful. The attention to detail and the quality of the experience was top notch. I would highly recommend Royal Expeditions for a trip to India!

The accommodations and service, especially services of Royal Expeditions was exceptional. Everything ran like clock work. Transfer vehicles were clean and comfortable. Drivers were amazing. The accommodations were wonderful.

During the trip, every detail was taken care of.
Vijendra was always available and solved every request with proficiency and warmth.
