We’re thrilled to invite you to a Multicultural Educator Exchange--an incredible opportunity for U.S. teachers to visit the island of Roatan and collaborate with local teachers. This unique exchange will feature cultural experiences, educational workshops, and a chance to explore the stunning Mesoamerican Reef and the vibrant beauty of the Caribbean ocean. Participants will share knowledge, gain new perspectives, and forge meaningful connections while immersing themselves in the rich culture and natural wonders of Roatan. JOIN US!
Who Should Attend?
Educators of non-native speakers (of English/Spanish)
Bilingual educators are highly encouraged to join us, although being bilingual is not required.

What to Expect
To engage with a local non-profit (PIER - Partners in Education Roatan) https://www.pierroatan.org;
- Share wisdom and strategies for teaching non-native language students
- Educational collaborations with Bay Island teachers
- Visit local school and interact with children and teachers
- Learn about the marine environment and its importance to the Bay Islands

Itinerary
Transportation will be provided from airport to hotel. You will be greeted at the hotel and join the U.S. group for a Happy Hour and Orientation, followed by a Welcome Dinner with Bay Island teachers and PIER staff.
