About this trip

“We are all walking each other home“
Ram Dass

To live is an experience we all share, all beings, we are meant to walk with each other to the highest goal, which is to recognize that love is our nature, we come from love, and to love we shall arrive.

As we walk the path of living, we become aware that only with compassion we can reach places that represent our own definition of paradise.

At Vibes, we are so happy to share this Transform to Reconnect experience we have created with the beautiful Carmen Ana Esquijarosa, which will take place in Playa Carrillo, Costa Rica, surrounded by palm trees and a peaceful yet dynamic ocean, your feet will be sandy, your hair salty and your mind and body free.

The intention is to create consciousness about ourselves, become aware of all beings and the way we interact with all creatures, and to live our happiest life, a life filled with love.

A compassionate journey through the philosophical bases of yoga and our eating habits… Remembering the nature of our existence while practicing compassion for ourselves and for others.

We hope you decide to take this walk with us, to share all the love and good vibes, and that when you leave you take your own version of paradise with you.

About the Instructor

Born and raised in Cuba, Carmen’s passion for physical activities began when she was just 5 years old, she practiced gymnastics, track & field, tennis, basketball, judo, and aikido, dancing in school performances and being part of a local artistic community called “Las Estrellas Infantiles” or “The Infant Stars”. As a teenager she began the practice of Tai-Chi Chuan. The discipline connected her to energies in her body she had never felt before. Around that time a friend gave her a book about a physical and spiritual practice called “yoga”. That “Simple Guide to Yoga” began to take her away from the Tai-Chi schedule and led her into unexplored territory.

She practiced for over 5 years with just that book as an instructor and guide, it was not until 2007 when she moved to Jamaica that she attended a yoga class, due to the excitement of seeing the way it worked without a book, she actually preferred to observe from the garden. In 2008 in United States, for the first time she started to learn from a direct teacher. At the beginning of 2013 she completed her Yoga Teacher Training and became certified by the Yoga Alliance for the 200 hours standard for Registered Yoga Schools (RYS), internationally recognized from the Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy of Rishikesh and the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres and Ashrams. Taking the Sivananda teachings as roots, her classes and self-practice involve an organic blend of movements and breathing techniques. Each class includes philosophical components and flows between challenging and gentle experiences through the poses, or asanas.

She believes various ways of living truly affect and even determine what individuals, communities and societies become. She dreams of a future where animal rights will not be approached as an issue, but as an existing fact. Veganism has changed her life and saved the lives of other living beings.

She is thankful to have found Sri Dharma Mittra and to be able to incorporate from his teachings a refreshing Sivananda influence, while having a more energetic practice.

“I’m simply full of desire and joy to keep sharing this journey with the world”
Carmen Ana Esquijarosa
