Cancellations/No Shows/Changes:

1. Service Changes and Cancellations:
   Tourism Services may be changed or cancelled from time to time, provided that valid and reasonable justification is given in advance. Cancellations without valid grounds or notice may be considered a breach of agreement.

2. Compensation for Cancellation or No-Show:
   The Service Provider reserves the right to claim compensation equivalent to the total invoiced amount if the Service Receiver cancels or fails to appear (“no-show”), as well as early departures, for any confirmed Tourism Services within the applicable cancellation period, as set by the Service Provider or third-party suppliers.

3. Third-Party Charges:
   Any charges or penalties invoiced by third-party suppliers in connection with the cancelled Tourism Services shall be borne fully by the Party initiating the cancellation.

4. Force Majeure Costs:
   In all circumstances, including Force Majeure, the Service Receiver shall bear any actual costs or commitments incurred prior to cancellation. This includes but is not limited to third-party bookings, driver allocations, and coordination costs.

5. File Change Fee (Per File):
   A change fee of OMR 50 per file shall apply to any confirmed itinerary that requires administrative changes, date shifts, or service re-quoting after booking confirmation, regardless of the reason.

6. Standard Cancellation Fees (Per Person):

• OMR 30 non-refundable cancellation fee from booking confirmation up to 30 days before arrival

• 30% cancellation fee for cancellations made 30-15 days before arrival

• 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made 15-8 days before arrival

• 100% cancellation fee for cancellations made less than 8 days before arrival and no-show

Payments of invoices, billings, and taxes:

1. Rates are inclusive of all taxes.

2. The Parties agree that all invoices and bills issued between them must be paid in Omani Rials (OMR) only. However, if any payments are made in a foreign currency, any resulting bank charges or currency conversion fees shall be excluded from the received amount and shall always be borne by the payer.

3. The Parties agree that the Service Provider will issue an invoice for Tourism Services based on the agreed net rates as soon as the booking details are shared by the Service Receiver. The Service Provider shall have the exclusive right to withhold the provision of services if any invoice remains unsettled.

4. The Service Receiver agrees to pay the charges and rates pertaining to the Tourism Services as outlined in the relevant booking and invoice.

5. The Service Receiver agrees to pay all invoices and/or bills for Tourism Services promptly and in accordance with the payment terms stated on the invoice.

6. All amounts payable to the Service Provider must be transferred to its registered bank account or via secure payment link no later than 30 days prior to the start of the Tourism Services.

Important Information About Your Booking and Rights

• Safety and Changes: We may need to change or cancel tours at short notice to ensure your safety due to weather, government restrictions, or unforeseen events beyond our control.

• Force Majeure: In case of extraordinary events such as natural disasters, war, or official travel warnings, we will try to offer you alternatives like rescheduling or travel credits.

• Your Responsibilities: Please follow your guide’s instructions and behave respectfully. Travelers who do not comply may be removed from tours without refund.

• Travel/Health Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of belongings prior to your journey and during your travel.

• Refunds and Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount you paid. However, your statutory consumer rights under EU law and your country’s laws always apply.

• Governing Law: These terms and your contract with the Service Provider are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

Travel Insurance:

Al Maamari Tours & Rental Cars strongly recommends that all customers obtain valid travel insurance prior or latest upon booking confirmation. This insurance should be acquired in the traveler’s country of residence. It typically covers trip cancellations due to accident, illness, or death, as well as health and emergency hospital costs during the travel. Al Maamari Tours is not responsible for covering any costs incurred due to insufficient funds or lack of insurance on the part of travelers.

Visa/Entrance regulations:

The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date.
