Fly in to Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos." From the airport we'll head together into the city and head to our welcome dinner!
From Athens, we'll head out for a day trip to explore the ancient ruins of Corinth, where the Apostle Paul preached and stood trial before Gallio (Acts 18:12-17). Visit the Temple of Apollo, the Agora, and the Bema, with stunning views of the Acrocorinth fortress. The tour also includes a stop at the Corinth Canal, a breathtaking engineering marvel connecting the Aegean and Ionian Seas before returning to Athens.
Get ready to explore the ancient city of Athens. We'll visit the acropolis (including the Parthenon and Mars Hill where Paul addressed the Athenians) before heading to Crete.
We'll base in one place in the South of Crete for a few days in the Plakias area. Enjoy the Prevali Palm Forest Beach, Kourtaliotiko Waterfall, Private Sunset Boat Tour, and connect with other women in the group before we head to the Chania Region.
Visit one of Crete's most specatular beach destinations: Balos. We'll cruise to the Balos Lagoon. If time allows, we'll make a stop at Manousakis Winery to sample ancient wine varietals and traditional Cretan culture on the way back to Chania town.
We are leaving this day open for a potential service project or time for connection with a local church organization where we can connect, serve, and gain insight into the local needs to build the kingdom.
There is an option to attend a local church in Chania, connect with believers at a local coffee shop ministry, and spend the afternoon exploring Chania town before having a final farewell dinner at a traditional Cretan restaurant..
Savor one last Cretan breakfast and we'll say our "see you laters" ending the trip at CHQ - Chania International Airport Ioannis Daskalogiannis.
