The archaeological site of Pisac, one of the largest in the Sacred Valley. Located on a hill at the entrance of the valley, Pisac boasts impressive Inca agricultural terraces, still used today. You will also visit the traditional market in the village of Pisac.

🌿 Urubamba Valley – The Sacred Valley of the Incas
Nestled between Cusco and Machu Picchu, the Urubamba Valley (known as the Sacred Valley) is a fertile river valley framed by soaring Andean peaks. Once the heartland of the Inca Empire, it is dotted with ancient terraces, lively markets, and traditional villages where Andean culture thrives.

The valley offers a gentler altitude than Cusco, making it an ideal place to acclimatize, explore archaeological sites like Pisac and Ollantaytambo, and enjoy hiking, yoga, and community encounters in breathtaking surroundings.

○ This steep mountain overlooks the site like a sugar loaf. 

○ Access is limited, and reservations must be made in advance. 

○ The hike is steep and challenging, taking about 1 hour to reach the summit. 

○ Offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Machu Picchu. 

○ Good physical condition required.

2. Machu Picchu Mountain ** 🌄 

○ An alternative to Wayna Picchu, located slightly behind the site. 

○ Offers stunning views of Machu Picchu and the surrounding mountains. 

○ The hike takes approximately 1.5 hours and involves many stairs. 

○ Strenuous trek requiring excellent physical fitness.
