This is a demanding day, where after a good breakfast, we will begin the ascent until we almost reach one of the highest points of the journey. After 6 hours of hiking and at approximately 4,300 m, we will set up our camp with a beautiful view of the Antisana volcano.

ACCOMMODATION: Camping 

This day we continue through the Andean foothills passing through unique landscapes surrounded by flora and fauna such as rabbits, moorland wolves and if luck is with us we will have the opportunity to see the imposing Andean condor. In the afternoon after approximately 6 hours of hiking we will arrive at the Pullurima camp at 4,000 m near the base of the Sincholagua volcano, where we will rest and spend the night.

This day the day continues, this time approaching the second high pass at the foot of the Sincholagua volcano at 4,400 m. After about 5 hours of walking we will set up our last camp of this incredible journey, getting closer and closer to our final goal, the Cotopaxi volcano!

ACCOMMODATION: Camping 

On the last day of the trek we will begin to descend the ridges of Sincholagua, until we can reach the Pita River on the northern limit of the Cotopaxi National Park. To finish with a flourish, we will serve ourselves a delicious and well-deserved plate of food in a cozy restaurant with a spectacular view of Cotopaxi. Then we start the journey back to Quito.
