Training on day one before you head out on the road
Choose your own dates and drive with your own crew. Perfect for solo travelers, friends, families, or small groups. Team of 2 or 3 per Tuk-Tuk
After landing in Siem Reap, your morning is yours to settle in, wander the neighbourhoods, or simply recover from the journey. In the afternoon, things get exciting: you’ll meet your support team and head to the Tuk-Tuk training grounds for your first hands-on session. Expect a friendly briefing, practical driving time, and plenty of laughs as you get to know your three-wheeled companion.
This evening, enjoy a delicious Khmer welcome dinner — the perfect way to ease into Cambodia’s flavour's and the adventure ahead.
Today is dedicated to exploring the world-famous temples of Angkor — and there’s no better way to do it than by Tuk-Tuk.
Follow shaded jungle paths and sandy temple trails as you discover the icons:
Angkor Wat, Cambodia’s crown jewel
Bayon, with its enigmatic carved faces
Ta Prohm, entwined with giant roots and jungle atmosphere
It’s a day rich in history, stories, and photo stops around every corner.
After returning to your hotel for a well-earned rest, enjoy dinner in Siem Reap and reflect on your first full day of Cambodian wonders.
Your first real driving day — and the moment your adventure truly begins.
Hit the open road as you steer your Tuk-Tuk through rural Cambodia: rice paddies, palm-lined tracks, and villages where life moves to the rhythm of the sun. Your main stop is Beng Mealea, a sprawling jungle-wrapped temple where collapsed galleries and mossy stone corridors make for a cinematic experience.
This evening, you’ll stay at a traditional Cambodian homestay — a wooden village house run by local families. It’s rustic, authentic, and a meaningful way to support the community.
Expect a warm welcome and a delicious home-cooked dinner.
After breakfast, continue your journey through the Cambodian countryside. Today’s route is dotted with small schools, farm villages, and wide smiles — children often run out to wave as you pass by in your Tuk-Tuk.
By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Kampong Kleang, one of the most extraordinary stilted villages on the Tonle Sap Lake. Homes tower above the water during the wet season and sit high on stilts during the dry — a striking and unforgettable sight.
Settle into your floating village homestay, meet your host family, and enjoy a beautifully prepared Khmer dinner. This stay offers an intimate glimpse into lake life — cultural, immersive, and truly special.
Wake to the rhythm of lake life — fishermen loading their boats, families starting their day, and the soft glow of sunrise over the water.
After breakfast, point your Tuk-Tuk back toward Siem Reap for your final stretch on the road. Expect a scenic, relaxed drive through rural communities, with plenty of moments that remind you how far you’ve come since your first training session.
Back in town, unwind at your resort before meeting the group for a Farewell Dinner — a celebration of stories, teamwork, and the unforgettable experiences shared along Cambodia’s backroads.
Your journey may be coming to an end, but the memories — and dust — will stay with you a little longer.
Take the morning to relax, enjoy a final Khmer coffee, or explore Siem Reap before heading onward. Whether you're flying home, continuing across Cambodia, or venturing further into Southeast Asia, we’re here to help coordinate any onward plans.
We hope to see you on another Tuk-Tuk soon.

Short answer: come and find out for yourself.
Long answer: Cambodia is one of those places that still surprises you. The temples are extraordinary, the roads are unpredictable, the food is good, and the people are genuinely warm. It's also still a country that rewards travellers who get off the main drag, which is exactly what a Tuk-Tuk is for.
The history runs deep too, with Khmer relics scattered through the jungle like Angkor Wat, and the long shadow of the late 20th-century genocide, which shaped modern Cambodia in ways you'll feel as you travel through it.
They’ve got three wheels (don’t ask us why), an open frame, a canvas roof with drop down sides, a cabin for the driver and two seats in the back. Oh, and an engine: a 4-stroke beast that is probably slightly more powerful than a horse. Tuk-Tuks have a few advantages: they’re durable, easy to use and very forgiving. They’ll happily handle almost any surface, climate or level of abuse. Their cruising speed is a tasty 35kph (22mph). Their cruising altitude is about one foot.
These guys are reliable, efficient and pretty user friendly. You can throw pretty much anything in Cambodia at them and the chances are good they’ll take it with a smile.
The Cambodia Adventure is broken up into various driving legs. Each team gets a road map and a daily navigational sheet, which they’ll use to get from A to B each day. The winning team isn’t necessarily the team that finishes first, it’s the one that accumulates the most challenge points. How do you get points? By nailing various challenges we set you along the way.
That means that racing is not really encouraged. In fact it’s actively discouraged. There’s no need to set a new Cambodian ground-speed record (very difficult to do on a 125CC tuk tuk, but still…) We’ll provide mechanical support when you need it, but essentially you’re hiring a Tuk-Tuk and driving it independently each day. By yourself. Han solo.
The reason Cambodia is on everyone's list. Angkor Wat is the world's largest religious monument. But the complex goes well beyond the main temple: Angkor Thom, the stone faces of Bayon, Ta Prohm half-swallowed by jungle roots, Koh Ker's remote pyramid rising out of the forest. You'll spend a full day here before the driving even begins. *Entrance included
Tuk-Tuks are unique vehicles that require careful handling and maintenance. While our team works tirelessly to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet, it´s important to note that Tuk-Tuks are delicate machines that can experience mechanical issues or breakdowns due to improper handling or poor road conditions.
We take great pride in providing our customers with an authentic and adventurous travel experience, and part of that experience is accepting the risks and challenges that come with driving a Tuk-Tuk.
In the event that a Tuk-Tuk does experience mechanical issues we have mechanics on hand and, depending on the nature of the breakdown, it may be the responsibility of the driver to repair the vehicle at their own expense.
We understand that this may be an inconvenience, but we believe it is a fair price to pay for the thrill and excitement of Tuk-Tuk travel.
So, if you´re ready to embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure, just remember to drive carefully, follow our safety guidelines, and embrace the challenges that come with this unique mode of transportation.
After all, it´s all part of the adventure!
