Cotopaxi Full Day - Shared Tour

That was an fantastic experience! The accommodation, the local food and the staff was amazing. The tours had been an amazing experience! There was also free water, coffee, tea and chocolate the whole day. I can only recommend this lodge and the wonderful guides. For me it was one of the best things I‘ve done in my 3,5 months traveling through South America.

The experience was fantastic, the staff especially Paúl were great. The lodge dorms and bedrooms were spot, cleaned everyday and fresh bedding which was a nice treat considering we were in the Amazon and I thought I’d be slumming it.
Seen some amazing wildlife but also not as much as I hope but I do think that was due to the river being very low which is unfortunate. Missed out on macaws, sloths, tapir but we did see plenty of monkeys, caimans and other birds. A different season might of been more wildlife but all in all great experience

Très chouette séjour. Guides très professionnels et fins connaisseurs de la jungle amazonienne. Nous avons vu plein d'animaux, le tout dans le respect. La nourriture était bonne. Le personnel très sympathique. Les chambres très bien. Le cadre magnifique.

Amazing lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon that provides a good amount of activities and relaxing time to enjoy. Gilbert was an excellent guide, we managed to find plenty of wildlife thanks to him and he also made sure all our food and accommodation was well prepared. Would totally recommend Cuyabeno Tucan Lodge to anyone looking for an adventure in the Amazon!

I went to Cuyabeno Tucan Lodge as a solo traveler and I would not have changed a thing about my experience there. Each experience was informational and fun, and I looked forward to every day. The guide, Gilbert, was really knowledgeable about fauna and flora as well as about the history of the area and of Ecuador. All of the staff were very kind, they ensured that the guests felt comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was exceptional and the rooms were very pleasant. The activities were perfect and we saw such incredible wildlife while learning so much about the ecosystem from our guide. I would love to return someday and I highly recommend this stay to anyone who enjoys being immersed in nature and learning!

This was an unbelievable experience. I would recommend it to anyone. The guides were brilliant, so friendly and full of knowledge (Fernando and Gabriel were our guides and they were the best!). The Amazon was an amazing place and I feel very lucky to have been shown it by this amazing company. The price is an absolute bargain as well for everything that you get to do and see. I would love to go back again in the wet season and see it all again in a different way! Food and accomodation was also so nice. A perfect trip!

The staff is caring. Room comfortable and good meals. We loved our expérience at Tucan lodge. We saw many animals; caïmans, tucans, monkeys, macaws.

We had an amazing time in the Amazone. Our guide Stalyn was so passioned about everything en very friendly. The lodge is also very nice and the food is delicious. We would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time! Everything on our itinerary went smoothly and we saw some incredible nature and animals. Our Hotel Ikala was beautiful and comfortable and our guide Erika gave us a great tour and made us feel welcome .

This was an amazing trip! Lots of opportunities to meet other people and a lot of great outdoor space around the lodge for chilling out. The guides were great and made exploring the amazon a full immersive experience!

We had a great trip! The bustrip was long but worth it. Great accommodation, we booked the private lodge and it was very nice. Our tour guide was so nice and knew everything about the animals and plants in the jungle. The food was good, the take good care and kept my allergies in mind. 


I had a great time and learned lots of new stuff. The facilities and the food were great too. Lovely staff. What an experience!

I loved this trip! The guide was excellent, the lodge was beautiful and the activities were great. We saw lots of animals 😊 10/10, would recommend! 

I had the best time of my whole life. Everyday was so good organized. The rooms were amazing, like in a boutique hotel. 3 times a day we had so good food. Lunch and dinner had appatizer, mainmeal and dessert, it was delicious!
Our guide Roland startet as a very good guide and ended as a very close friend, there is nothing he could do better than he did!

I'm still processing what I was allowed to experience. Would recommend to everyone to do this tour with toucan lodge! Ask for Roland as your guide!!

It was a wonderful stay. The staff and all the guides are super amazing. For sure a highlight of the whole travels. I would do it again!
