About this trip

7 Nights sailing along Turkey's Turquoise Coast from Bodrum to Marmaris.

Set Sail for Turkey's Turquoise Coast

The Turkish Riviera, also known as the Turquoise Coast, offers an unforgettable sailing experience, combining the fascinating  Mediterranean with the rich cultural tapestry of Turkey. As you set sail along the crystal-clear waters, you’ll be greeted by a stunning coastline, picturesque bays, hidden coves, and charming fishing villages. The warm Mediterranean breeze guides your vessel past ancient ruins, including the historic city of Knidos, creating a blend of natural beauty and archaeological wonders.

Navigating the Turquoise Coast is a journey through time and culture, where modern luxury yachts share the seas with traditional wooden “Gulets”. The vibrant local cuisine, influenced by Mediterranean and Turkish flavors, becomes a part of the sailing experience. Whether you’re exploring the bustling markets in Datca, relaxing on the beaches of Marmaris, or anchoring in secluded bays for a peaceful night under the stars, sailing the Turkish Riviera promises an unforgettable adventure where history, nature, and the thrill of the open sea in perfect harmony.

About our boat

About our boat image

cozy & comfortable

Our sailing vessel, or gulet, is 29m long and made in Marmaris (where our sailing trip ends). It is all hand made. A gulet is a traditional design of a two-masted wooden sailing vessel from the southwestern coast of Turkey. This gullet is not  luxury, nor is it pretentious travel. It is cozy and has a personal touch to it (just like our wonderful onboard staff). All rooms are ensuite.

Food and drink

Food and drink image

you won't go hungry

Our onboard chef will make sure you never go hungry with amazing home cooking and a wide variety of choices at every meal. There’s always a chilled bottle of wine and no shortage of cold beers, sodas and bottled water. Don’t forget 4pm tea time with cakes and assorted goodies!

off exploring the hidden corners

We start in the port town of Bodrum, along the Aegean Sea, and sail the Turquoise coast south to ancient Knidos, Datca, Bozukkale (Loryma), Serce Liman, Dalyan/Caunos, Turunc Bay. We end in Selimiye near the town of Marmaris.

Please note: as weather dictates our route, exact itinerary for the following day will be determined each evening and reviewed at dinner.

A true staycation

A true staycation image

chill out, make new friends, fall in love with Turkey

This is certainly the least tour-feeling tour that we’ve ever organized. While there are historic ruins, mosques and hidden waterfalls to explore, at its heart this is a floating staycation. You can relax, swim, laugh, eat, drink, take in the vistas and sunsets at every turn, learn backgammon and then eat some more. Make new friends, feel like family with the Capitan and his crew and fall under Turkey’s enchanting spell as our fabulous guide Taylan shows you the best seven days of your travels.
