About the Tour

This private adventure includes snorkeling with the graceful sea turtles in Akumal Bay, swimming in a beautiful cenote, and also a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Cenotes are sinkholes filled with crystal clear water from the world's largest underground river system which runs throughout the Yucatán Peninsula.
After snorkeling with the turtles we will take a short ride to Cenote Yal-Ku. This beautiful open (above ground) cenote is brackish water because it is located next to the Caribbean Sea and serves as a nursery for several different fish that live around the coral reef.
