Today you'll meet Linnea, Voltrona's horse handler, and learn about the farm and stables we're sharing with the horses this week. 

You'll spend guided time with the horses, experiencing their habitat outside and in the stables as they welcome us into their home.

Together, we'll explore mutual respect for our Equine companions, how to interact, and experience the rhythms of their life.

Today we'll venture out into the Italian countryside, admiring the ‘Senese Clays’ on our way to Monte Oliveto Maggiore Abbey.

Our guide will lead our tour of this ancient brick estate. We'll drink in its beauty and history, as we walk between its stone walls, surrounded by cypress and mighty oaks, and experience the artistry and serene calmness. 

Next, we will visit Pienza, the "Ideal City of Renaissance," with its mysterious and fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets on a Tuscan hilltop. Allow yourself to be transported back in time, to a slower way of life.

Before we return to dinner at Voltrona, we'll explore Montalcino, west of Pienza. A walled Medieval hilltop town with a mighty castle, known for its magnificent wine, art, and architecture. 

Today we'll spend the morning in the calming presence of the horses. 

In the afternoon we'll head to San Gimignano – "The Town of Fine Towers" – known for its unforgettable skyline and remarkable Gothic and Romanesque architecture. Here, we'll take part in a private cooking class and under the guidance of an Italian chef, you'll create traditional Tuscan cuisine.

Known as "The Beauty," Siena is one of Italy's most visited destinations. Your senses will tingle with delight as we tour this picturesque city known for its cuisine, art, museums, and medieval cityscape.

Enjoy our guided tour of Duomo (Siena Cathedral) and explore Siena's open-air market with local farmers and their authentic Italian offerings. Taste, smell, and experience the joy of our host nation at its brightest and most exuberant!

Siena is also home to The Palio – a famous horse race with medieval origins – that takes place in Piazza del Campo. Twice a year representatives from each ward of the city compete in this culture–defining event.

We'll eat lunch in Piazza del Campo and then head to Monteriggioni for an exclusive guided tour of the ancient village.

In the morning we'll continue to bond with our horses and experience the countryside on their backs. Don't worry, no matter your riding experience, Voltrona can accommodate your needs.

You'll get more intimate horse–bonding time in the afternoon as we continue to explore their restorative presence.

A one–of–a–kind experience, you'll search for world–famous black truffles!

Learn from an expert truffle–hunter and his dog how to identify and find these incredible delicacies in the dirt. 

After our hunt, you'll never forget the experience of tasting some incredible truffle creations!

On our final day together we will spend time thanking our Equine companions for their gracious hospitality and care of our souls. We'll say farewell and show our love and appreciation for their kindness.

Spend the afternoon as you desire, drinking in the beauty of the countryside, reflecting quietly, or exploring some more.

Tonight we'll feast together with our farewell dinner at Voltrona, reveling in the peaceful adventure we've completed.
