This tour is all about experiencing La dolce vita, which literally translates as “the sweet life”. We will enjoy the Tuscany region of Italy with its well known and admired culture of food, wine, and breathtaking sights & scenery with this exciting itinerary.

With your arrival into Rome’s Fiumicino International Airport "Leonardo da Vinci" we transfer to Fattoria Pieve a Salti, a late 19th century Tuscan farmhouse located in Hills in Buonconvento (Siena) offering a beautiful natural setting, rich in history, art and sacred traditions.

Morning arrival into Rome airport. After customs formalities the group will be welcomed by tour director and board our waiting motor-coach. Transfer to Fattoria Pieve a Salti, a late 19th century Tuscan farmhouse located in Hills in Buonconvento (Siena) offering a beautiful natural setting, rich in history, art and sacred traditions. San Gimignano
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time to enjoy the Frattoria. Later, participate in a Cooking class and lunch at the Frattoria. This afternoon, enjoy an excursion to San Gimignano, the epitome of a Tuscan hill town.

San Gimignano is beloved because of its skyline of medieval towers. Though a unique sight today, pointy skylines were the norm in Tuscany in the Middle Ages, when feuding noble families ran the hill towns (think Montagues and Capulets).

Followed by a tour and wine tasting at Panizzi, or similar.

Today we’re off to Florence where we will enjoy a guided tour and visit to Accademia Gallery with the magnificent viewing of Michelangelo's David. The afternoon is at your leisure to further explore Florence. Early dinner at Torcicoda's in Santa Croce. Return to Pieve for overnight.

Pienza
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Pienza with a visit and tasting at a Cheese Factory and a visit and tasting at an Olive Oil Mill. We will enjoy some free-time to explore Pienza before returning to lodging.

Pienza is considered the “capital” of pecorino cheese, because of its high quality due to the fact that the cheese is made from an especially flavoursome and aromatic milk thanks to sheep pastures in Val d'Orcia.

After breakfast, load and board your coach for our return to Rome. Upon arrival, explore the Eternal City and home to the Roman Empire, including a view of the ancient Roman Forum and the Flavian Amphitheatre, “Colosseum”. After breakfast, enjoy one last day to explore the Eternal City beginning with a visit and entrance to St. Peter’s Basilica followed by a leisure walk through the monumental squares with visits to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We will enjoy a Farewell Dinner and overnight in Rome. It will be possible to visit the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel - ON YOUR OWN (*Reservations required - you need 2-3 hours for this with lots of walking)
