This journey to Tuscany is brought to you by by Serena Crawford and Carrie Streeter, creators of BBTravel-Crafters, and Valerie Midgett, owner of Neighborhood Yoga , two businesses based in the heart of North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our hosts are Laura & Fabrizio, the creators of Villa Tramonte—an 18th century estate surrounded by olive and fruit orchards & located just outside their hometown of Lucca.

What's included

Daily Yoga

Evening in Pietrasanta
We'll take in a little-night music n this ancient center for Italy's sculptural arts.
Lucca Tour & Bike Ride
We'll explore this Renaissance town with a local guide.
Pre-Trip Book/Film Club
Want to learn about Tuscany's history & culture before traveling there? We'll choose some books & films to explore and then discuss (virtually and/or in-person). This is totally optional, of course!
All Breakfasts
along with delicious pastry and local eggs and yogurts, breakfasts include including fresh fruit and vegetable juices
6 lunches + 6 dinners
the retreat menu is vegetarian, and a local cook will prepare dishes based on the season and the region's abundance of local cheeses, pasta, breads, fruits, and greens.

Transport for Excursions
The scheduled excursions to Cinque Terre, Pietrasanta, and Lucca all include transportation
Local Transfer
Transfer to and from Lucca to Retreat Center. There will be one scheduled pick up and drop off only. Any transfers outside of this are not included.

What's not included
Flights to/from Italy
Lucca is easily accessible from two nearby airports. Pisa (PSA) is a 30-minute train ride, and Florence (FLR) is a 1.5 hour train ride.

They bring together their personal and professional studies of yoga and history to create retreats, workshops, and field trips that offer embodied explorations of self and society, both past and present and around the world.
