Take to the streets of Frankfurt to explore this dynamic city with your U Host! You’ll see some of the city’s hotspots like the Eiserner Steg, a bridge covered with famous love locks, then Römerberg, the quaint town square walled with photogenic medieval houses. Grab a bite, shop and soak in the local experience before heading to the Frankfurt cathedral. Take pictures and brush up on your history; this iconic landmark is where ten kings were crowned from 1562 to 1792.

INCLUDED – BIKING FRANKFURT

Join your Wellbeing Coach and U Hosts on a bike ride along the beautiful Main river, with a well-deserved pit stop for an Apfelwein or local beer at a cozy river-side bar.

U TIME – FRANKFURT ON FOOT

Follow your U Host into the heart of Frankfurt, a dynamic financial trade city with the most imposing skyline in all of Germany. You’ll head into the heart of the bustling city to catch Kleinmarkthalle, an amazing market hall welcoming 63 vendors in 156 stalls that offer all kinds of fresh food, regional specialties and imported foods. Before hopping over to the Main Tower for a breathtaking view, don’t forget to sample some Ebbelwoi, Frankfurt’s famous cider. It will blow your taste buds away!

U TIME – CLIMBING FOREST FRANKFURT

In the midst of an imposing Taunus forest backdrop you will find the Kletterwald adventure park. This climbing forest will satisfy adrenaline appetites of all sizes with the highest course in Germany and two of the longest zip lines in Hesse.

INCLUDED – HIKING GERMANIA MONUMENT & FOREST

Fresh air and beautiful views are guaranteed on this walk as we head to the cutest of German towns set in a gorgeous backdrop of vineyards. First, explore Rüdesheim and the famous Drosselgasse, then hike through the hilly vineyards to the Niederwald Memorial. There you’ll have one of the most stunning views of the Rhine!

INCLUDED NIGHT OUT – NIGHT AT THE CASTLE

Get ready to hike up and explore Rheinstein Castle and its beautiful Burgundy Garden. Toast with the owners and then explore this fascinating castle on your own. When you roam around in the crypt, banquet halls, private quarters and spectacular towers, you’ll get the spookiest up-close insights into what castle life was all about. Afterwards, return to Koblenz and hit one of the local pubs!

U TIME – ABBEY WINE

“Game of Thrones” fans will love Eberbach Monastery—its ethereal 12th-century architecture made it an ideal film location for the show. There are no dragons, but you can taste the abbey’s Rieslings.

U TIME – WINE TIME

Follow your U Host to RheinWeinWelt, an interactive wine tasting experience. After a short introduction to the 14 wine rooms and wine “slot machines,” you’ll get 10 tokens to take with you. Use your tokens to try samples of different wines of your choosing, each stored in their own tanks with helpful descriptions. Whenever you need a break you can always head back to the main hall where cheese plates and other local treats will be waiting for you.

Grab your helmet and get ready for romance; this sentimental bike ride will trace the beautiful Rhine River. Stop for pictures whenever you please, and take in the sights of historical Germany.

Follow your host on an evening walk through Koblenz, one of the country’s oldest and most beautiful towns. Vineyards, forests and exotic mountain ranges form the backdrop to a town with over 2,000 years of storied history.

U TIME – COLOGNE IN DEPTH

After your local-guide-led walking tour of the city, put on a pair of virtual reality glasses and get ready for a unique, interactive experience that will take you on a journey back in time. On this TIME ride show, you’ll see Cologne during the 20th century via a stereoscopic 3D photo exhibition, historic tram ride and virtual tour in an experience that will touch all of your senses.

INCLUDED – DÜSSELDORF CITY WALK

Join your U Host on a walk through historic Düsseldorf! See some of the city’s most famous pieces of architecture like Ehra oder Kind mit Ball and the Statue of Our Lady, then stop at the gorgeous Konigsalee. Grab a bite at Latz’scher Park afterwards and keep exploring if you feel so inclined! Düsseldorf is an inspiringly beautiful city so don’t miss your chance to soak in everything it offers!

INCLUDED NIGHT OUT – BOTTOMS UP COLOGNE

Calling all architecture buffs—this one’s for you. Behold the Cologne Cathedral, a world-renowned monument of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture. It was officially declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Over 20,000 people walk its corridors every day, making it the most visited landmark in Germany. Afterwards, take an evening stroll into downtown Cologne for a pint of delicious Kölsch beer! You’ll then continue on to the Rudolf & Brusseler Platz area where the hipper bars, cafes, shops and restaurants are. Feel free to disperse on your own or continue with your Host to the next phase of this adventure! You’ll head off to a combination of unique sites, emphasizing Cologne’s Roman, medieval, and modern history. If you have room after that Kölsch beer, drink in the unique Gothic architecture!

U TIME – TASTE OF HOLLAND TRIATHLON

Bring your appetite on this tour through some of Holland’s local highlights. This excursion will cover the area’s booming fishing industry with a boat tour, three tastings of local fare that changes seasonally, and a bike tour through the gorgeous countryside. Just don’t be surprised if the ride takes longer than expected since every view is a photo op!

What better way to explore Amsterdam’s canals than by water? Hop aboard an electric canal boat where, on top of the hundreds of bridges, bicycles, towers and waterways, you will sail along world famous sites like the Red Light District and the Dancing Houses. Get to know the scenic neighborhood of Zaanse Schans, built along the River Zaan and home to some of the most stunning and historic windmills in Europe. Buckle your seatbelts, cause you’re about to get a crash course in all things Dutch. From art, history, and beauty at the Rembrandt Rijksmuseum, to a tasting and brewery tour of Heineken, you’ll be feeling decidedly Dutch.

U TIME – A HIDDEN PLACE

Step into the past with a tour of the Anne Frank House. The building may well be the best-known building in Amsterdam now, but in 1940 it was where the Frank family hid from the Nazis. The house sees more than a million visitors each year, who are looking to experience the space where Anne kept her diary over her two years there. Moving, and profound, this tour is truly eye-opening.

U TIME – AMSTERDAM OLD AND NEW

Amsterdam is so much more than red lights! Explore this amazing city like a true local, on two wheels. Pedal your bike along canals past 17th century Dutch homes, stopping at a local café for an included drink. Top off your experience by taking in the sights at Amsterdam tower observation deck where you have the option to take a ride on Europe’s highest swing!

U TIME – CRIME CRUISE

There’s a lot to love about Amsterdam. The red light district, bustling bar scene,“coffeeshops” activity and socializing seems to reign in this dynamic city. But the city has its dark side as you will soon see. Join your guide, and a police officer to learn about the crime, mystery, and mayhem that once consumed the city in the 1980s.

U TIME – AMSTERDAM IN BLOOM

Spring has sprung! So why not experience it in its fullest bloom? A trip to the Keukenhof Gardens plays host to over 7 million blooms, and 800 varieties of tulips across its near 80 acres (32 hectares) of land. Get lost exploring the beauty of spring, crafted by Mother Nature herself. Note: this excursion is available in April and May only.

Disembarkation day. You must vacate the cabins by 8:30 am, but you can stay on-board until 4:00 pm with bags stored in the front lobby.
