About this trip

The University of California welcomes you on this Service Learning Program to Ghana to celebrate our 50th year of exchange with both the country and the University of Ghana, Legon. The experience will give you the opportunity to take home love, memories and knowledge as you learn about the country and meet some of the people who live here. In addition to celebrating and learning, you will take in some exceptional sights with the other program participants in the group as well as have time on your own.

You will need to buy your own international flights, roundtrip to Accra. From there, we will meet you at Kotoka Airport and transfer you to your accommodation. Your coordinator at the University of California will help you determine the best arrival and departure times in order to make the group transfers. Transfers outside of the group transfer times may incur additional charges.

View the itinerary for more details about the program and the payment and cancellation terms, which will also appear when you go to make your deposit.
