Join the University of California San Diego Men's and Women's Basketball teams on an exciting 11-day/9-night tour of Italy! There is no place else that offers ancient history, delicious foods, and beautiful countryside quite like Italy! We'll start our journey in the Eternal City of Rome (3 nights)- enjoying tours of Vatican City, the ancient Roman Forum, and the Colosseum. Our next two nights will be spent in the Tuscany region of Italy and Florence. Known for it's beautiful countryside and vineyards, Tuscany was also the birthplace of the Renaissance. We will depart Florence for the Milan/Lake Como area for our next two nights with a stop in Bologna on the way for a guided bike tour. While in Milan, the group will enjoy a boat tour of Lake Como to Bellagio. This gorgeous mountain lake offers dramatic scenery and a glimpse at the quieter side of Italian life. Our final two nights will be spent enjoying one of the most unique cities in the world: Venice! And all along the way, the UCSD Men's and Women's basketball programs will play 3 international exhibition games against local teams. Andiamo!
