We will be picked up at our hotel after breakfast for a full day Cusco tour! *Option to wake up and watch the sunrise from our hotel..we have the best view of the city at our hotel afterall!*  

During the day, we will visit the highlights of Cusco: the Temple of the Sun "Qoricancha", the Cathedral which is the major temple of the city, and the Inca complex of Saqsayhuaman.

And I'll be there with my camera helping capture photos and videos of your trip every step of the way! 

After breakfast, we will depart early for a full day in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the drive, we will see picturesque landscapes with farmlands and snowcapped mountains. 

Our first stop is at Awanakancha, a farm with llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos where we can learn the Inca weaving process and you can shop for local garments. 

After, we will visit the archaeological sites of Pisac and Ollantaytambo. 

In Pisac, there is a handicrafts market where we can shop for beautiful artwork and textiles. 

Our lunch will be in Urubamba town, and we continue to Ollantaytambo to visit the huge Inca complex afterwards.

We will depart after breakfast for the salt mines in Maras where the villagers harvest salt in more than 3000 salt ponds as their ancestors did centuries ago. 

Then we continue to Moray which is believed to be an experimental center for agriculture. The huge circular Andean terraces look like an amphitheater. 

We will then head to Chinchero town where local people are selling their goods produced using conventional Andean methods in the small market. Then we will pay a visit to an archaeological site before enjoying an Andean traditional lunch called Pachamanca, which is baked with hot stones underground. It can include lamb, mutton, pork, chicken or guinea pig, marinated in spices.

The meal also includes Andean produce, such as potato, green lima beans or "habas", sweet potato, and occasionally cassava or yuca, as well as ears of corn. 

Then we'll head back to relax at the hotel in the evening. 

Rise and shine EARLY! 4:30am we will depart our hotel to get ready for the Inca Trail! 

We'll stop for breakfast near the start of the trail then...we're off! 

This trek is a very challenging but beautiful hike. 

On the first day, it takes around 7 hours along meandering streams, ancient Inca sites, and the Andes' stunning views until Ayapata, the first campsite at 3300 m.

All meals are included on the trek. 

Wake up with coffee or coca tea, get ready for the most challenging day of the Inca Trail, climb to Dead Women's Pass at 4215m (13,828ft), and Runqurakay pass 4000m (13,123ft). 

While this day is an awesome challenge, it's great to do it with a supportive group there cheering you on! It's tough but worth it. 

Camp at Chaquicocha, located at 3600m.

The third day is undoubtedly the most beautiful day with spectacular views of mountains and different landscapes, visiting several archeological sites such as Phuyupatmarca, IntiPata, and Wiñaywayna.

 The last campsite is at 2600m.
Option to go for a dip in the waterfall nearby camp! 

Be ready to start REALLY early for the final day; the first part is a 1-hour hike to the Sungate before sunrise to enjoy the breathtaking views of Machu Picchu. 

It's another hour hike to Machu Picchu.  Our guides will show us around this World Wonder.

When we are done at Machu Picchu, we'll take the bus into town for lunch and to celebrate our successful trek!

We'll go back to Cusco on the Exclusive Panoramic train for amazing views as we speed across the country!
