Today we head to my FAVORITE beach in the entire world and explore Cascais! Cascais is traditional and charming Portuguese fishing town, which has responsibly developed into a popular resort town. Think: deep blue water, white homes on the cliff side, sailboats as far as the eye can see!

Historically, Cascais was the summer retreat of the Portuguese nobility, and today the town is a great escape from the bustle of Lisbon with its pristine beaches and beach town vibe. 

After exploring the town, we will be headed to a secret beach that will will need to do a little bit of hiking to reach (WELL worth it though!)

Once arriving back in Lisbon, we will hit Lisbon's popular "Time Out Market!" This is an essential stop for travelers- it is a Lisbon food market located inside the historic Mercado da Ribeira, a traditional market hall built in the 1890s in Lisbon’s now trendy Cais do Sodre waterfront district. It houses 2 dozen food stands serving traditional portuguese food that is all from top rated cuisine chefs in Portugal!

After dinner, we will head back and get ready for a night out at Pink Street, Lisbon's bright pink road lined with travelers on terraces waiting to have Friday night out!

Today we are going to a castle... or a few.

Sintra, just 40 minutes train outside of Lisbon, is a fairytale land of castles and palaces. Sintra is where Portuguese royals used to spend their summers. 

Today, the concentration of these former regal estates and equally fanciful gardens has turned this UNESCO World Heritage Site into a popular day-trip destination. After seeing the 19th-century Romantic architecture, cobblestone streets, and dense forests,  you will understand why travelers from all across the globe visit Sintra!

We will be with a tour guide who's life has been dedicated to the history of SIntra,  and discover romantic grottoes and colorful architecture, and get spectacular views to the Atlantic coast from the Serra de Sintra!

Today we are switching up locations and taking our party to the south of Portugal!

After a 3 hour bus ride to reach the southern coast, we will check into our dorm style accommodation and explore Albufeira's old town and hit the beach! The main streets lined with calçada, and much smaller cobbled streets are definitely worthy of getting lost in! Young travelers use Albufeira as their warm weather and paty escape- think of it as your perfect place to live out your mama mia summer!

We will head to the main beach to soak up the sun and spend the day swimming until the evening comes around, we will head out for a night on the strip!

During the late afternoon the terraces fill with drinkers awaiting the night ahead, and once the sun sets neon lights will guide them to an array of clubs and discos. 

Cheap drinks, cheap food, and an over-the-top party atmosphere is what the strip is known for, and what it delivers. 

Today we are exploring the coast of the Algarve! 

This coastline of golden rocky cliffs overlooking the crystal blue sea has been awarded the most beautiful coastline in the world for decades! 

We will hop on a boat to see the coastline from the water, while exploring grottos, caves and jumping in the ocean to cool off from the hot portuguese sun. 

After soaking in the nature of the Algarve's coastline we will head back to get ready for a night out in Albufeira! 

Portugal is known for its wines, so today we will enjoy a relaxing wine tasting experience and discover a rich diversity of high-quality wines from a local winery!

We will try local wines accompanied by a plate of tapas with Portuguese cheese and sausages. We will learn all about wine- how it made at the vineyard, taste, etc

We will visit the winery's production room and wooden barrel room to see where the magic takes place. 

We will then take a ride through the region's stunning countryside, to stop and see the famous Algarve oranges, ancient Cork trees, and some of the oldest villages of the region.  

The tour ends with some free time to visit the ancient Moorish village of Silves, to walk along its cobbled streets making our way up to its castle before heading back to our accommodation!

We will then kiss Albufeira goodbye and head back  to Lisbon, where will will check into our accommodation for our last night together! 

We will visit Lisbon's famous "pink street" for our last night out!

DAY 7! Sadly the last day of our trip has come. 

We will checkout of our accommodation in Lisbon, and have breakfast before heading separate ways... at least until our next trip together!
