Zimbabwe and Botswana offer some of the most incredible safari experiences on the planet, and this itinerary is designed to experience the very best of both.
All hotels and overnight accommodations are included. Hotels are unlikely to change, but we reserve the right to adjust if necessary. If so, hotel will be of similar caliber.

Arrive in Victoria Falls where group airport transfers will bring everyone to our riverside lodge.
Known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya, “The Smoke That Thunders”, Victoria Falls is one of the world’s great natural landmarks. Straddling the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe, it forms a vast curtain of water that fills the air with mist and sound. The Zimbabwean side grants the most dramatic views, where mist rises like ghostly curtains and rainbows arc through the spray, it’s regarded as the largest single continuous sheet of falling water on Earth.
In the evening, settle into safari mode with a sunset dinner cruise on the Zambezi River while watching for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and incredible African sunsets.

Start the day with an unforgettable 20 minute helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River, one of the most iconic natural wonders in the world. The flight encompasses the traditional “Flight of Angels” and then continues downstream for a thrilling flight over the Batoka Gorges. Flight duration is approximately 25-27 minutes.
In the afternoon, a knowledgeable guide will take you on an unforgettable experience through the Victoria Falls rain forest, a journey that not only affords a view of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World but provides information about the geology, wildlife and history of Africa’s most famous landmark.

This morning you’ll cross into Zambia for a thrilling visit to Livingstone Island where you’ll hang over the end of the powerful falls in the Devil’s Pool (conditions permitting), before continuing onward to Botswana.
Your journey begins with an exciting boat ride through the fast-moving channels of the Zambezi River where you’ll take a leap into Devil’s Pool or Angel’s Pool. A delectable 5-star gourmet meal is prepared for you on the island itself to round off this magical experience.
After you dry off from the falls, you’ll transit from Victoria Falls to Botswana and arrive at your next accommodation, Cresta Mowana. In the afternoon, you’ll head out on a boat safari in Chobe National Park, famous for having one of the largest elephant populations in Africa. The Chobe Boat Cruise is a wonderful way to experience Chobe National Park. Elephants, antelopes, crocodiles, and hippos, are common on the Chobe Floodplains.

Today is dedicated entirely to safari game drives in Chobe National Park. Chobe is bordered to the north by the mighty Chobe River. This diversity of habitats provides a sanctuary to an astonishing array of African wildlife, most notably the impressive, shifting migratory population of more than 50,000 elephants.
Morning and afternoon drives give you the best chances of spotting elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, and countless other wildlife species.

In the morning you’ll travel from Botswana back into Zimbabwe and onward to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest national park and one of the best safari destinations in Africa. Duration of the transfer may vary depending on the border traffic (estimated 5 to 7 hours).
After lunch, you’ll travel into Hwange National Park for your first Hwange game drive. Hwange National Park is home to one of the biggest elephant populations in the world, as well as around 100 mammal species, the park is a wonderland for animal lovers. Several protected animals inhabit the awe-inspiring open landscapes, including the endangered African Painted Dogs, critically endangered black rhino, and rare roan and sable – along with lion, cheetah, and around 500 bird species.
Your accommodation, Hwange Safari Lodge, sits on the edge of Hwange National Park. Elephants, zebra, antelopes, and more frequent the watering hole directly in front of the lodge giving you a chance to sit and watch them up close for as long as you want while at the camp!

Spend the full day exploring Hwange National Park in a 4×4 with experienced guides. Today you’ll get the chance to have lunch out in the bush, spending all day in the park Expect incredible wildlife viewing opportunities including elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, and if you’re lucky, even wild dogs or leopards.

Today you’ll have a morning and afternoon game drive, with a chance to relax at the lodge in between. Every drive is completely different depending on wildlife movement, weather, and timing, which is part of what makes safari so addictive.

Enjoy one final morning game drive in Hwange National Park before traveling back to Victoria Falls. In the evening, celebrate the end of the adventure together with a farewell dinner and traditional cultural performances at the famous Boma Dinner Experience.
