Arrive in Milan. Board your private motorcoach and transfer to La Spezia (or area). B

With your train pass, explore Cinque Terre, a breathtaking coastal region nestled along the rugged Italian Riviera. It consists of five picturesque fishing villages—Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare—that perch on cliffs overlooking the turquoise Ligurian Sea. Return to La Spezia. Leave the coastal area for beautiful Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. Stop at Pisa en-route to view the famous Leaning Tower. Continue on to Florence. Visit Piazza Michelangelo on the way to the hotel.  B

Begin the day with a guided walking tour, to include all the highlights: See Ghiberti’s famous relief panels, The Gates of Paradise, the Church of San Lorenzo, the Ponte Vecchio and the Bargello, an art museum that once served as a barracks and prison. Experience more wonders of the “City of Water” with the aid of a local guide on a tour of  Venice, use your 24 hour vaporetto (water taxi) pass to navigate the canals and take in the astonishing scenery. See the famous Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Square, admire St. Mark’s Basilica and the Bridge of Sighs. B

Bid farewell to Venice as your tour takes you on to Salzburg, Austria. Upon arrival, discover the art, architecture and culture of the birthplace of Mozart. See the Festung Hohensalzburg, home of the Mozart Museum, or the Salzburger Dom, the city’s largest cathedral, dating back to 1620.  B

As you make your way to Munich, stop in Bad Tolz, a medieval Bavarian town, for a thrilling and scenic Alpine slide ride. Continue to your next destination: Dachau, a Nazi concentration camp that housed as many as 200,000 prisoners, of which over 35,000 perished. Next stop is Munich, Germany, situated just north of the Bavarian Alps. B
