CATALÀ/MALLORQUÍ - Brutal experiència que ja recoman a tothom que me demana. Viatjava sol, com tres altres membres del grup de Setmana Santa del 2022. En total érem 5 dins el 4x4, a part de Mamba, el guia, un crack: atent, eficient, amb gran coneixement de la fauna, dels llocs on podían ser els animals, etc. L'experiència de dormir tres nits en tendes de campanya dins el Serengeti, escoltant els sons de la natura (lleons, hienes... a uns metres de la tenda), despertant a les cinc del matí per veure una espectacular sortida de Sol amb les girafes a contrallum, és orgàsmica. Tot i que jo som biòleg, i puc estar més predisposat a que aquest tipus de coses m'agradin més, sé cert que la resta del grup va gaudir molt també. Érem un grup que no ens coneixiem de res, abans, molt divers, de caractarístique diferents cadascú, i que férem un molt bon conjunt harmonitzat. Férem un primer dia de passejada caminant a la cascada Materuni (al peu del Kilimanjaro), a través de selva, i veient alguns aspectes culturals com la fabricació de cafè. Després férem cinc dies seguits de sabana: Taranguire (1 dia), Serengeti (3 dies) i Ngorongoro (1 dia). I acabàrem en un dia de compres i de menjar en restaurant local, a Arusha. Jo tenc clar que repetiré: segurament miraré de tornar estar 3 dies al Serengeti, i després anar a Gombe a veure ximpanzes, o a un país veïnat a veure goril·les. Si pot ser, seguiré triant Watatu i en Mamba (al manco pel que fa al Serengeti). Tenc més de 2000 fotos dins sa càmera, i ses meues xarxes socials ja bullen amb tot el que he penjat.// ENGLISH - Great experience that I already recommend to anyone who asks me. I was traveling alone, like three other members of the Easter group of 2022. In total we were 5 in the 4x4 vehicle, apart from Mamba, the guide, a crack: attentive, efficient, with great knowledge of wildlife, places where we could find animals, etc. The experience of sleeping three nights in tents within the Serengeti, listening to the sounds of nature (lions, hyenas... a few meters from the tent), waking up at five in the morning to see a spectacular sunrise with giraffes backlit, it's orgasmic. Although I am a biologist, and I may be more inclined to like this kind of things, I'm sure that the rest of the group enjoyed it too. We were a group that we didn't know anything about the others before (we didn't meet before), very diverse, each one with different personality, and we made a very good harmonized team. First day we did a walking excursion to Materuni waterfall (close to Kilimanjaro mountain), through jungle, and seeing some cultural aspects like coffee production. Then we passed five consecutive days in savannah: Taranguire (1 day), Serengeti (3 days) and Ngorongoro (1 day). And we ended up on a day of shopping and eating at a local restaurant in Arusha. I am clear that I will repeat the experience: next time I will probably try to stay in the Serengeti for 3 more days, and then I'll go to Gombe to see chimpanzees, or to a neighboring country to see gorillas. If possible, I will continue to choose Watatu and Mamba (at least for the Serengeti). I have over 2000 photos on my camera, and my social media is already buzzing with everything I've uploaded.
