After you land in Kathmandu at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu, Nepal, can be an exciting but busy experience. After clearing immigration, proceed to the baggage claim area to collect your luggage.
Our staff/ representative will attend you at the side airport at the arrival section. They will take you to the hotel where you will check in and get refreshed . In the evening, you can enjoy a short walk on the streets of Thamel. You will meet the staff and discuss the tour in detail in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Pashupatinath Temple is a revered Hindu temple complex located on the banks of the Bagmati River in Kathmandu, Nepal. The temple's origins date back to the 5th century, though the current structure was built in the 17th century. Pashupatinath attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists annually, especially during the Maha Shivaratri festival, when devotees gather to pay homage to Lord Shiva. The temple complex also serves as an important site for cremation rituals for Hindus.
Boudhanath Stupa: The massive stupa features a large mandala base and is adorned with Buddha's all-seeing eyes on all four sides, symbolizing awareness. Colorful prayer flags flutter from its central spire, spreading mantras and prayers with the wind. The area surrounding the stupa is home to numerous Tibetan Buddhist monasteries and shops selling religious artefacts.
After breakfast in the hotel, we head to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is an ancient town in the western part of Kathmandu valley. The town is dominantly inhabited by Newar people who also are the locals of the valley.
In Bhaktapur, we take a walk through the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which was built by the Malla kings around 500 years ago. You can see the architectural excellence in the wooden pillars and beams of the temples. Naytapola temple, the five-storied temple, is one of the most famous temples in Bhaktapur. You will also taste “Ju Ju Dhau,” which is a locally made curd popular for its taste before returning to Kathmandu. Primarily , while exploring Bhaktapur, you can ask your guide to take you to the local restaurants where you can have Bara, a local authentic Newari Food item, local coffee and tea. They are must taste things here in Bhaktapur in your visit. Also, walk through traditional Newar peoples' settlements and find the places where you can see pottery works.
Also, you will go and visit popular Changunarayan Temple, the Hindu temple dedicated to lord Vishnu and will marvel at the arts and architectures from 11th century.
After breakfast in the hotel, we head towards Patan to visit Patan Durbar Square. We take walks around the Durbar Square, which was also built around the same time as Bhaktapur and Kathmandu durbar squares by the kings who ruled the valley. You can see similar, yet so different forms of art in the temples and palaces of the durbar square. Patan Durbar Square is a stunning collection of temples, palaces, and courtyards, showcasing Newari architecture. Notable structures include the Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, and the ancient Royal Palace. You can visit the museum and see the weapons used by the kings. Patan is famous for its craftsmanship, particularly in metalwork, stone carving, and woodwork. After spending some time in Patan, we return to Kathmandu.
After breakfast, we catch the first bus to Lumbini. Kathmandu to Lumbini is a journey that covers approximately 280 kilometers (around 175 miles) The drive from Kathmandu to Lumbini is about 6-7 hours long.
The drive offers diverse landscapes, including scenic river valleys, lush green hills, and the flat Terai plains. On the way to Lumbini, we drive along the bank of the Trishuli River for a while and leave the river to enter the plain fields of Terai. There are several towns along the way where you can stop for refreshments, meals, and restroom breaks. Popular stops include Mugling, Narayanghat. Overnight in Lumbini.
Lumbini is one of the biggest most important and holiest places for Buddhists and Hindu pilgrims around the world. This is the birthplace of the founder of Buddhism, Gautam Buddha. In Lumbini, you will visit the Mayadevi temple, the place where Lord Buddha was born. Some footsteps represent the first steps of Buddha. Surrounding the Maya Devi Temple, the Sacred Garden is a serene and spiritual area with monasteries, stupas, and meditation centers built by various Buddhist communities from around the world. You can visit the monasteries and stupas built by different countries. The most famous stupas are the Golden Temple and Peace Pagoda. You will also explore the Tharu culture in Lumbini. After breakfast, we say goodbye to Lumbini and head towards Pokhara. We leave the flat lands of Terai and head towards the winding roads of the hills of Nepal.
On the way to Pokhara via Tanshen and Syanja, those beautiful place is also the cultural and historical when you are driving, you can enjoy the local Nepalese village and green hills views, beautiful river views like the Kaligandaki and Tinau Rivers.
A five-hour long drive from Lumbini takes you to Pokhara the capital city of Tourism in Nepal. Arrive in Pokhara, check in hotel and can enjoy a short walk in the Lakeside Pokhara with spectacular and grand Phewa Lake. Enjoy your best item of meal at the restaurant located at the bank of Phewa Lake.
After breakfast, we will start exploring Pokhara. We will visit the World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara. From the stupa, you get a clear view of Pokhara valley beneath the mighty Annapurna and Machhapuchhre mountains. You can also go to visit a holy Pumdikot Shiva Statue with massive mountain views at the same time. From the Peace Pagoda, we return to Pokhara and start exploring the town. We take a walk around the Fewa Lake. We also go boating in Fewa Lake to visit the Talbarahi temple in the middle of the lake. Further, we go to explore Davi's Fall, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave while doing Pokhara sightseeing. Explore the nightlife of the famous tourist hub of Pokhara, Lakeside.
From Pokhara, we head to Kathmandu today. Pokhara to Kathmandu is a 6-hour drive along green hills, terraced fields, and mighty rivers. Winding through the Prithvi highway, you pass by several small towns and settlements. Mostly, you drive alongside of Trishuli River. Trishuli river is very popular for River Rafting in Nepal. You ascend up to Thankot and then enter into Kathmandu valley. You may have to encounter some traffic once you enter the Kathmandu valley. However, within an hour's drive, you will get to your hotel and get refreshed.
