Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. ~ Albert Einstein
DEVELOP YOUR 2020 VISION The most important thing about retreat is that it gives you time to review what you have been up to.
According to the Yoga Sutras,
future pain is avoidable.
Retreats circulate the inner conversation and make a new dialogue possible. It's like opening a window in a stuffy room or turning on a really good song, very loudly, or the air after a thick symphonic rain.
Whatever "reality" you have been subscribing to can easily be unsubscribed from.
UNSUBSCRIBE ON RETREAT.
WRITE A NEW CHAPTER.
SPEAK A NEW LANGUAGE.
See below for when and where we'd like to develop 2020 Vision together.
Love,
COTERIE
To invent, you need a good imagination and a pile of junk.
~ Thomas Edison
Hypnosis is a truly amazing tool that can help with anything you need in life. The truth is that Hypnotherapy is one of the safest, gentlest. therapeutic tools out there. In Hypnotherapy sessions you are actually entering into natural states of consciousness that we enter everyday. So in a sense, we are just accessing levels and harnessing them to our benefit. The subconscious is responsible for storing memories of everything we experience, carrying out the autonomous responses to different situations. all our limited beliefs, all our fears and phobias, and anything that may be blocking our success in life. Hypnotherapy allows us to move past what no longer serves us and move into a bright free future.
There is nothing too small or nothing too big that can be worked on with Hypnotherapy. Whatever it is that you want to create, change, move past or discover in your life, Hypnosis is a huge catalyst towards change. As long as you have the want, going deep into the the subconscious allows us to plant seeds into the fertile soil of transformation.
Katonah Yoga® is a syncretic Hatha yoga practice developed by Nevine Michaan over 40 years. She and her teachers incorporate classical Hatha yoga with Taoist theory, geometry, magic, mythology, metaphor, and imagination — in a practical framework designed to potentiate personal and communal well-being.
Framing the practice, maps of time and personal space are defined and refined. Themes using asana as origami, manipulating form for function, and developing a sense of personal measure are incorporated in Katonah Yoga practices.
Katonah Yoga is organized around three principles of esoteric dialogue: all polarities are mediated by trinity; the universe has pattern, pattern implies intelligence; by virtue of repetition there is potential for insight.
Revelations are revolutionary.
Jessica M. Hintermeister
Jessica is thrilled and humbled to serve as a yoga teacher. Originally from NYC, she has lived in Telluride for 3 years full time. After graduating from Columbia University (BA & MA, Art History), she embarked on a rewarding career in the Art world. Needing a change of pace for her physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, she decided to put everything in storage and move to Telluride, which had been a place of respite for her since prep school. Jessica stumbled upon Jivamukti through a series of divine interventions, eventually taking those stumbles all the way to India for Teacher Training (after completing a 200 hour training in Maui). Always the student, she is currently navigating her way toward certification in the Katonah Yoga Independent Teacher Training (KYITT). Jessica is eternally grateful for her teachers; Jessica Fertig, Ruth Lauer-Manenti, Yogeswari and Abbie Galvin.
