Today we will travel 2.5 hours to Eshowe where we will visit a mock cultural village. Upon arrival we will have a 3-hour tour to learn about Zulu traditions and the history of the admired King Shaka Zulu. During the 3-hour experience  in honour of Shaka’s mother, Nandi . Following the tour we will enjoy 1-hour of traditional dancing and a buffet dinner. 

Rise and Shine! Good Morning! Good Morning! On this day we will experience Part 2 of our cultural village tour and then take the 2.5 hour drive back to the city  for your choice of fun! Head to the beach and grab a surf board and catch some waves, purchase some beachside souvenirs, visit a local market to purchase souvenirs, grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant, or simply relax at home and catch up on some rest before we hit the ground running on Day 3! 

Today we will travel to the Umgababa South Coast Zulu Township where we will meet  our traditional Zulu host. We will meet with approximately 30 Go'Go's,  (grandmothers) and their grandchildren as they share their personal stories about how the HIV/AIDS pandemic has impacted their lives. 

After hearing their stories of survival we will provide them with food essentials that will last a month! We will also provide donations of clothes, toys, and other essentials. We will end this afternoon experience with singing, dancing, and celebration.  

After our community giveback and celebration we will commune with our host over lunch, followed by a meeting with the locals via walking tour of the Zulu township. You will also have the opportunity to purchase handmade items from the locals who reside in the township. 

Before dinner we will meet with a traditional African herbalist and learn about traditional African religion and medicine. During our meeting with the Sangoma we will have a group session where he will connect us with our ancestor's. If you would like a individual session with the Sangoma, you can do so at your own expense. 

We will end the evening with food, drink, and socialization with our host and guest.
 

Today we will be welcomed home to South Africa by  King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini of the Zulu Nation and  Chief Philbert Luthuli,  of the Umgababa South Coast Zulu Township. We will be welcomed into the Zulu tribe through a traditional Rights of Passage ceremony. The ceremony will include a lesson in Zulu history by the King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, and Queen Mantfombi Dlamini of the Zulu Nation, and Chief Philbert Luthuli of the Umgababa South Coast Zulu Township, Meet and Greet with the King, Queen, and Chief, traditional African dance and music performances, and a FEAST of traditional African cuisine. 

If we are not tired from this very full day we will venture out and explore the night life at one of Durban's #1 hot spots!

Today we will wake up early and traveled approximately 3 hours to go Glamping at a top rated Game Reserve! Upon arrival we will check into our suites and enjoy a delicious lunch buffet before embarking on a night safari to spot Africa's Big Five! After the safari we will return to our resort for a delicious buffet dinner, drinks, and and socialization with friends. 

We will start the off with a morning Safari ride to spot more Big Five, followed by breakfast before heading to  Swaziland for a cultural tour and brief introduction to the Swazi culture! We will enjoy a traditional Swazi dinner before heading back KZN. 

Today we will travel to  Amanzimtoti to visit a local visit a local nonprofit organization to learn about Childhood Sexual Abuse in South Africa and the Virgin Cure Myth. This nonprofit organization provide bears as a non-threatening toy (bear) as means for child victims of sexual abuse to communicate the nature of the abuse, crossing all language barriers and preventing secondary abuse at the point of rescue.  They also provide HIV/AIDS education, a school program, counseling, relocation placement, and court support through trail. 

Today we depart, but before we leave head down to the beach for last sunrise, visit a local market, or have a private session with the local Sangoma. You Decide!
