This day trip to Atlanta includes a self-guided tour of the Center for Civil and Human Rights as well as a docent led tour of the Bremen Jewish Heritage Museum. Between stops, students will be taken to the Varsity for lunch, where each student will be provided with $10 for lunch.
This trip is open for registration until February 6th, 2020, or until all seats fill. In order to guarantee your spot, we recommend you register asap.
Students will depart school at 8:30am, and will arrive back at school between 5:00 - 5:30pm. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up by 5pm.
During your day trip, students will be given a docent-led tour of the William Bremen Jewish Heritage Museum, where they will get to hear eyewitness testimony from a Holocaust survivor (upon availability of speaker). Your students will also be taken on a self-guided tour of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, where they will discover the Universal fight for all Human Rights. As a celebration with their friends, students will eat lunch at the famous Varsity in Atlanta. Each student will be provided with $10 for lunch, and no additional money is needed on this trip.
