Day 1

Day 1 image

Arrival & Welcome to Mexico City

Your journey begins the moment you land. A private transfer takes you directly to your boutique hotel — carefully selected for its character, design, and connection to the spirit of the city.

In the evening, the group gathers for a relaxed welcome dinner with your hosts and guides. Good food, easy conversation, and the first real taste of Mexico City. Tonight is intentionally unhurried — a warm introduction to the week ahead.

Day 2

Day 2 image

The Heart of Mexico City

Today we decode the literal foundations of the capital. The Historic Center is a living collision of Aztec ruins, Spanish colonial architecture, and twentieth-century muralism — all layered on top of each other across centuries.

Accompanied by an expert local guide, the group moves through a privately curated trajectory: monumental public art spaces, hidden courtyards, revolutionary murals, old-world markets, and trade streets that have held their rhythm for centuries.

The morning ends with a carefully selected lunch at a standout restaurant tucked inside the historic district. The afternoon is yours — return to the hotel or continue exploring at your own pace.

Day 3

Day 3 image

Anthropology Museum, Condesa & Free Afternoon

The day begins with an in-depth guided visit to the Museo Nacional de Antropología — one of the greatest museums in the world and the definitive record of Mexico's pre-Hispanic civilizations. With expert guidance, the group explores the symbolism, mythology, and cultural foundations that continue to shape the country today.

After the guided visit, there's free time to continue at your own pace through the museum's gardens and galleries.

The group then gathers for lunch at one of La Condesa's standout restaurants — a neighborhood known for its Art Deco architecture, tree-lined streets, and creative energy. The rest of the afternoon is open for independent exploration, a walk through the neighborhood, or simply relaxing at the hotel.

Day 4

Day 4 image

Sunrise Over Teotihuacán

The most unforgettable morning of the journey begins before dawn.

We depart early for Teotihuacán, where the group boards a hot air balloon for a sunrise flight over the ancient pyramids — one of the most extraordinary experiences Mexico has to offer. Drifting above the Pyramid of the Sun and the Avenue of the Dead as the valley fills with light is something that stays with you.

After landing, the group is taken to a private outdoor spot overlooking the Pyramid of the Moon — rarely visited, completely unhurried — for a curated breakfast with panoramic views of the valley.

Later, a guided walk through the archaeological site gives the group context for what they witnessed from above: the history, astronomical precision, and mythological significance embedded in every structure.

We return to Mexico City in the afternoon. The rest of the day is open.

Day 5

Day 5 image

Xochimilco & Cultural Immersion - Welcome To Mexico City

We head south to Xochimilco — one of the few places in Mexico City where the ancient waterways still run and the city slows down completely.

The group boards a privately chartered trajinera for a curated canal experience: traditional food, local drinks, and live music by a mariachi ensemble or an acoustic bolero trio. No tourist crowds, no rush.

From the canals, we continue to the Dolores Olmedo Museum — a stunning 16th-century hacienda set on lush grounds and home to the largest private collection of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo works in the world. Peacocks roam the gardens. The art is extraordinary. It's one of those places that consistently surprises even people who've lived in the city for years.

The day closes with lunch at a carefully selected local spot before returning to the hotel.

Day 6

Day 6 image

Coyoacán, Frida Kahlo & Optional San Ángel

An early departure to Coyoacán — one of Mexico City's most beloved and storied neighborhoods — for a visit to Casa Azul, the iconic Frida Kahlo Museum. The group explores the artist's life, personal belongings, paintings, and creative world in the very house where she was born and died.

After the museum, the group walks through Coyoacán's plazas, cafés, artisan markets, and tree-lined streets at a relaxed pace.

In the afternoon, guests have two options: continue to San Ángel — a neighboring colonial barrio known for its cobblestone streets, galleries, and Saturday artisan bazaar — for independent exploration and shopping, or return to the hotel to rest and enjoy the city freely for the remainder of the day.

Day 7

Farewell & Departure

The final morning begins with a farewell breakfast together — a last shared meal with the group, your guides, and the city that hosted you for the week.

Private airport transfers are coordinated for each guest's departure time, ensuring a seamless and stress-free close to the experience.

Unlock Mexico City doesn't end at the airport. It ends when you realize, somewhere on the way home, that this one is going to be hard to explain to people who weren't there.
