What to Pack

 

What should I pack for my trip to Egypt?

  • Travel and health insurance

  • Copies of your passport and Travel insurance documents

  • Comfortable, sturdy shoes, or sandals, loose, breathable clothing, and a lightweight cardigan or jacket for more conservative locations

  • Contact lens solution, sunglasses

  • Lightweight hat, sunscreen, insect repellent

  • Medication in the original bottle (with prescription) and toiletries

  • Egypt's voltage is 220V. You need a two-prong plug, a converter, and/or an adapter, so be sure to check before you arrive.

**IMPORTANT**

Please be advised that Drones are illegal in Egypt and will be confiscated at the airport.

Please be advised that ALL CBD products are illegal, as well as marijuana and Schedule 2 drugs such as Vicodin.

Activity Level: Moderate

 

  • Prolonged Walking: Be prepared to walk and explore various sites. Expect to navigate diverse landscapes, including rocky paths, sandy areas, and possibly stairs.

  • Early Start Times: Tours will begin early in the morning to maximize your tour. Your days will be filled with exciting activities and cultural experiences.

Welcome to Egypt!

Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, your Egypt Ever After representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 1 Saqqara

Saqqara Step Pyramid

Today, we will visit the Old Kingdom Capital of Egypt, and see the oldest stone pyramid in the known world: Saqqara. Here you will step inside 4,000-year-old Mastabas where ancient Egyptian nobles were mummified and sent to the afterlife.

Valley of the Kings and Queens & Egyptian Wine Tasting

Step into the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where Egypt’s pharaohs were buried more than 3,000 years ago. Here, vibrant wall paintings, ancient corridors, and royal chambers reveal how New Kingdom rulers prepared for eternity.

Unveil the ancient art of Egyptian winemaking and taste the modern vintages rooted in thousands of years of tradition.

Today is the one thing no one ever puts on a vacation itinerary: a real day off. Sleep in, linger over breakfast, unwind by the pool, or wander Luxor at your own pace. No schedule. No rush. Just the luxury of doing exactly what you want, or simply doing nothing at all. Luxor is yours to enjoy, however you please.

Hatshepsut's Temple

Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, built nearly 3,500 years ago for Egypt's greatest female pharaoh. Carved straight into the cliffs of Deir el‑Bahari, its colonnades and reliefs reveal her divine birth, trading expeditions, and unprecedented reign.

Karnak Temple

Welcome to Karnak Temple, the 4,000‑year‑old heart of ancient Egypt, and the largest open‑air museum in the world. Built by dozens of pharaohs, it features a hypostyle hall and a sacred lake. Explore the temples where the Priests and Priestesses worshipped and protected the inner sanctum of the gods and goddesses.

Hathor Temple, Dendera

On the rear wall of Hathor Temple stands a rare treasure: The famous Queen Cleopatra VII - The Last Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. Cleopatra and her son Caesarion are immortalized together in one of the last great reliefs of ancient Egypt. We will explore one of Egypt’s best‑preserved sanctuaries and birth houses, where vibrant Egyptian blue ceilings and star‑filled halls honor Egypt’s goddess of love, music, dance, and cosmic motherhood.
