For our first day, we’ll tour historical sites and go shopping in the colorful souks for argan oil, lanterns, pillows, and Moroccan beauty products. Jemaa El-Fnaa is a vibrant hub of trade, social life, cultural expression, and beauty, and Stephanie and Melissa will help you understand this beauty paradise. Melissa will share how Morocco continues to influence color, materials, wellness, and beauty throughout our day exploring the markets. She’ll also explain how Argan oil has changed the beauty and wellness industry, and what it means for the future influence of global beauty culture.

We’ll enjoy lunch at Le Salam, a garden rooftop restaurant, before entering the Medina for an afternoon of exploring the souks of Marrakesh. You’ll experience our signature ATWBeauty Marrakesh Walking Tour, a 4-hour curated tour to meet with artisans and take a deep dive into the beauty culture of locals. Our local female tour guide Sara will share authentic beauty recipes and rituals, showcasing quality ingredients and nurtured relationships with local partners making a difference in their community.

We’ll return to our Riad for an Argan oil-inspired dinner, and will learn about the golden liquid that put Morocco on the beauty map. We’ll discover the process of making Argan oil, along with the history of this unique ancestral ritual that is a beauty regimen staple for women around the world.

Enjoy some leisurely morning free time before departing for an hour drive from Marrakech into the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. Here we’ll be surrounded by gardens and gorgeous, breathtaking views. We’ll arrive to meet our local Beauty Expert and owner of La Roseraie Spa Retreat for an unforgettable beauty experience. 

We’ll begin our experience with a delicious lunch surrounded by the beautiful gardens filled with roses and singing birds. Melissa will expand the discussion on the sacred importance of the Moroccan Hamman experience, talking about how ancient healing rituals continue to influence our modern world. She’ll also focus on Middle Eastern ingredients that are shaping the beauty and wellness industries. 

After, Spa Director Kenza will lead us on an exploration of the fields of  different flowers, plants, and beauty ingredients that are used in the spa for their local organic products and treatments. We’ll learn about the different ingredients and rituals of the Berber women, and will enjoy some hands-on learning as we make our own beauty recipe inspired by Moroccan traditions. Then, we’re onto a trip highlight with our authentic Hamman experience, experiencing the full ritual of black olive soap, rhassoul mineral mud, and orange blossom cleanse. We’ll have plenty of time in the luxurious hammam to relax, detox, and absorb the beauty wisdom from this special destination. 

At the end of our spa day, return to the Riad. You are free to roam in Marrakesh, have dinner, enjoy the nightlife, or perhaps stay in for a body massage at the Riad. Please note, dinner is not included for Day 3.

Daily Beauty Purpose: Learn from ancient beauty wisdom, and experience the healing catharsis of a full Moroccan Hamman ritual. Enjoy free time in the early morning and evening to relax and reconnect.

Wake up to a morning meditation session, and prepare your best outfit to honor one of fashion’s greatest minds. We’ll meet our female tour guide for the YSL Museum and Le Majorelle gardens, where we’ll learn about the history of Berber fashion, explore the art of Yves Saint Laurent, and capture our special experience with a personal photographer. 

Using Yves St Laurent and Morocco as an example, Melissa will explore how important and powerful cultural inspiration is for brands, and will explain how larger cultural influences trickle down to design details. Melissa will break down how the design world can influence other markets, drawing examples on how fashion can influence packaging, colors, and design details. 

After our dive into fashion history, we’ll depart for our Moroccan fragrance experience. We’ll meet Beauty Insider and Master Perfumer, Abderrezzak Benchaabane, the founder of the Jardins du Maroc (Gardens of Morocco) Magazine and the Festival Jardin'Art (Garden Art Festival) in Marrakech. He will be your guide and partner in creating your own personal fragrance for a unique and emotional experience. Lunch will be at Abderrezzak’s palace, “Musee de la Palmeraie”. Among amazing thematic gardens, we’ll learn about the essence of flowers while enjoying a relaxing lunch. For our fragrance experience, Melissa will provide insight on the future of fragrance and beauty personalization. 

After, we return to our riad for some free time before a final Beauty Tribe dinner at the riad. We’ll recall our adventures, discoveries, and emotions from our journey, and will bid farewell to the rest of the group departing for the Sahara for the longer trip option.

For our 10-day #BeautyTravelers jump into our private 4×4’s that will take us from Marrakech to our Sahara Eco-Desert camp  located 9 hours from Marrakech in South Morocco.  The drive is spectacular. Desert Camp Adounia is a special type of glamping experience, full of home comforts such as; comfy mattresses and cotton bed linen, hammam towels, dry toilets and ecological toiletries. 

The energy of Sahara is grounding and powerful which supports our wellness and self-care time to look within. You’ll enjoy pink sunsets on orange sand dunes, while you remember the joy of what it means to be alive. Adounia meaning ‘Life’ was created with the fragility of the Sahara desert environment in mind, sustainable tourism, the local Moroccan culture and desert nomad artisans.

The Desert camp is located in the Moroccan Sahara at Erg Birtam, (Erg meaning dunes) a sacred Saharawi site 40 minutes through dunes from Mhamid. At night we gather around the campfire with Sahara nomads to take in morrocan music and stargazing.

Wake up to a morning meditation, and enjoy the sunrise. Many will take to the dunes for a walking meditation, or if you prefer to get extra beauty sleep. After lunch we spend the afternoon exploring the old oasis ksar of Mhamid, the women’s co-operative, local textiles and the Kasbah museum, giving you a wealth of information of the tribes and way of life in this area. 

Return back to our eco-camp and enjoy a Sunset ride on camels through the Sahara dunes. At night we come together as a #BeautyTribe and enjoy a candle-lit dinner while sharing our take-aways from learning about moroccan local culture, and our experience thus far. We enter the night with music, and tranquility to allow the magic of the Sahara to cleanse us mentally and spiritually.

We leave our Sahara glamping tents to spend the night and visit this picturesque fortified village,UNESCO world heritage site, the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. It is about 1500 years old and the background for many movies including Game of Thrones. It is a Ksar which means a group of kasbahs like a small village.

We check into our hotel Kasbah Isfoula and Spa for the night and well enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains while we relax.  Each room and suite at the Kasbah has a traditional Moroccan décor. Spa treatments are available in advance to book. We highly suggest a hamman to remove any desert residue… but we do love Sahara hair.  Hot tub/Jacuzzi is open for our guests.

After breakfast we depart back to Marrakesh but this time in the New City.  We check-in to our 5-star hotel Es Saadi Marrakech Resort for the next two nights. Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. Gambling sorts can try their luck at the casino, while others may prefer a nightclub or a health club which is walking distance.. You have the rest of the day to un-pack/ decompress by the pool and plan a night in town. Dinner will be on your own. You can set-up a car with us for pick-up and drop-off. 

After-hours experience one of the hottest night-clubs right next door. Enjoy a night of modern-morrocan nightlife come to life at Theatro. A real place of celebration in a theatre, where sweet and colourful madness animated by unique shows where fairy tales, extravagant sets and breathtaking light shows are mixed together! Open every night from 11:30 pm to 5 am. A place to meet locals with travelers.

Today you are free to roam in Marrakesh and do any last minute activities or shopping you desire. Today’s activities are not included in pricing. You can enjoy a day at the hotel relaxing getting additional treatments or visit one of our curated activities at an additional cost.

• Argan Cooperative - Visit our partners Arije Al Ghaba- an Argan Cooperative located one hour outside of Marrakesh. It offers travelers looking for best quality ingredients, and one-of-a-kind experiences to learn beauty from the source. Beauty Workshop offered.
• Personal Photo-shoot in the Medina.

We will meet for our last farewell dinner at Épicurien, the restaurant-bar and lounge of the Casino, and step into a plush atmosphere filled with crystal chandeliers, mahogany furniture and large mirrors. Get ready to groove to the beat of iconic live band The Kech Experience. You can stay dancing till dawn, or return back home to pack and prepare for your journey ahead.
