'Unwinding Within' Healing the Inner Child Through Fascia Release

'Unwinding Within' is an experiential healing workshop that integrates two complementary approaches: inner-child work and fascia release.

Through guided inner-child exploration facilitated by Debbie Carcuffe, you’ll begin to recognize the emotional wounds, protective patterns, and beliefs that may still influence how you experience yourself and your relationships today. 

Through the fascia release work, facilitated by Maria Alfieris, you’ll also have the opportunity to connect with your body, notice areas of holding and tension, and create space for greater ease and awareness. Fascia is the part of the body that stores and holds the physical, emotional, and spiritual trauma of our life times.

During this workshop, you’ll explore:

•⁠  ⁠How childhood experiences can shape adult emotional patterns

•⁠  ⁠The protective beliefs and behaviors we develop when we are young

•⁠  ⁠How triggers can point us toward parts of ourselves still asking for attention

•⁠  ⁠The relationship between emotional stress, tension, and the body

•⁠  ⁠Fascia release practices to create space and awareness of the body

•⁠  ⁠Ways to reconnect with and compassionately support your younger self

What to Bring:

• Massage Table - we ask participants to bring a massage table if they are able to. Please let us know on the registration list if you're able to bring one

• Two Pillows

• Sheet for massage table

• Comfortable Clothing: Sports Bra, Shorts, Leggings, etc.

• Journal & Pen

• Lunch (or buy local on lunch break)

This workshop will be facilitated by Maria Alfieris, Physical Therapist and Energy Medicine Practitioner for over 40 years - with expertise in healing the body, mind and emotional systems to help you discover and unlock your inner physician and gateway to self love. Maria's inner child therapist, Debbie Carcuffe, will be joining her and we'll be diving deep into inner child healing.
