Luxury Holidays organised a fantastic two week trek to Everest Base Camp and back for our family (two adults and two children - 12 & 14). They arranged all our relevant transportation within Nepal and were very accommodating of any additional requests that we had. The flights to and from Lukla are always weather dependant and the team at Luxury Holidays made sure that our trek was successful even with a days' delay arriving in Lukla. This put back our trek but our high altitude guide Dambar made sure that we had places to stay every night even though the trail was very busy due to lots of delayed passengers arriving at once. For the trek itself we were guided by Dambar and had two porters - Yubaraj and Bikra - carrying our bags. Together they looked after us very well. Dambar was keen that we didn't rush ourselves and was very patient with our pace. He could point out not just the range of mountains but also flora and arable crops as well as birds and animals. As a small group with children, it was really assuring to know that Dambar and our porters were keen to look after our children. This meant for example Yubaraj walking with the children when they were faster and also on the final trek to Base Camp in case they got into difficulties so the adults could carry on. In fact, the children did better than the adults! Dambar was very good at helping with the breakfast, lunch and dinner orders and also other parts of our trip - helping with photos or just simply with organising the occasional hot shower or electricity requests. At the end of our trip we also had weather issues with the outward flight from Lukla. Despite Lukla being busy, Dambar secured us an extra night at the same hotel with the same rooms to make our additional nights' stay more convenient for us. We then decided on helicopter out so we could get to our international flight and he sorted this in a way that we got on the list early and for a good price. He was professional all the way through. We had some good laughs with Dambar, Yubaraj and Bikra throughout our two week journey. We highly recommend them and also Luxury Holidays for making it a success. Finally, not everyone makes it to Base Camp ok. Dambar has a 100% record and I think that is down to his patience and reassurance not to rush, so that you get used to the altitude. That is just what you want on these trips., especially with children. All the best to Dambar for his future

A memorable experience! Everything was fine, flight was smooth, cabin crew very friendly and pointed out every peak we flew by, all in all would definitely recommend it! Mount Everest is truly spectacular and wouldn't have been able to see it any other way, cause I'm not a mountain climber. Thank you Luxury Holidays for a great experience!

We did the trek in March and had very good weather, views, and it was not crowded. Luxury Holidays Nepal provided everything what they promised, all was good. Thank you.

The helicopter trip to Mt Everest View Hotel was amazing. No words can describe the beauty and experience. My captain Frank Farvert was exceptional. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic time on the trip. Everything was very well planned out and it all exceeded expectations. The final night, I was taken on a dinner cultural experience by Kushal Baniya and really enjoyed the conversation and the evening. He told me that he had planned most of the trip, and I was extremely grateful for all the hard work that he did and the extra planning that he did to make everything go right. I would book with this company again and highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to have a fantastic time in Nepal.

We loved our Nepal and Bhutan trip with Luxury Holidays Nepal! From the beginning of Biren picking us up at the airport to Holy Himalaya Hotel (front desk staff Rijan and Pridap who helped us out with various requests), to Ram (funny and informative) who took us out on our first day in Kathmandu, took a flight to the Himalayas and got some great pictures of the Daddy of them all, Everest...Then flew to Pokhara and stayed at the beautiful Pokhara Grande with bell staff Subin and Prakash and wait staff Deb Raj taking care of us...Rajesh took us to the sunrise at Sarangkot (stunning) and around Pokhara....Onto Bhutan where Cheki and Chimi picked us up and drove us to Thimphu where we saw the Big Buddha and went to the Painting School and then went to Sangay Arts and Crafts where we bought things that were made at the school (Wangchuk and her aunt were very helpful)...Then Simply Bhutan for cultural dances, etc...Stayed at the beautiful Hotel Lobesa where proprietor Div Sharma catered to our dietary needs and brought out some wonderful Bhutanese wine which we drank on our balcony overlooking the lovely landscape...Back to Paro and saw the National Museum of Bhutan and stayed at the Hotel Olathang....Good food and nice wait staff....We did go to Tiger's Nest (as far as we could go physically) and Cheki and Chimi were willing to take us but we couldn't make it to the top...But it was breathtaking! They treated us like family and there were a few tears when we said goodbye...Altogether a most wonderful trip!!!
