The Three Peaks are located within the Three Peaks State Park, a true natural sanctuary and one of Brazil’s most remarkable destinations for hiking, climbing, and mountain lovers.
During this expedition, we’ll explore landscapes that awaken the soul — the striking Dragon’s Head, the inspiring Valley of the Gods, and the magnificent Valley of the Friars. Each section unveils the raw beauty and power of the Serra dos Órgãos mountain range.
As the largest state park in Rio de Janeiro, the Three Peaks State Park features one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Brazil, stretching across the charming municipalities of Cachoeiras de Macacu, Nova Friburgo, Teresópolis, Silva Jardim, and Guapimirim.
Among its most iconic peaks are Pico Maior, Pico Médio, Pico Menor, and Capacete — the latter accessible only by climbing — as well as the impressive Dragon’s Head and the imposing Caixa de Fósforos, both symbols of the park’s grandeur and mystique.
