Wow Cuba! Where do I even begin? Not only is it a diverse country full of the most beautifully warm people, the history and culture runs deep , trust me it will have you wanting to immerse yourself. The streets of Havana (La Habana to Cubans) has the hustle and bustle of Latin cities that always pull you in, the iconic vintage 1950s cars and the nearby Caribbean waters to relax in. I took a solo trip to Cuba in December 2018 and always hoped I could go back, it makes it even more exciting to share this experience with you guys!

- Deposit is refundable within 7 days of booking, after this no refund is possible regardless of circumstances.

- Trip payments are only refundable due to emergencies up until January 30th 2023, after this time no refund is allowed as I will not be able to recover the costs already covered for the trip service.

- You can not be refunded because you did not look at flights in time or failed to plan your trip/visas.

Covid

There are currently no covid entry requirements for Cuba, if that changes all guests will be made aware asap.

Visas

Americans CAN go to Cuba, you just have to prepare the necessary docs the same way you do a visa for any other trip. And it can all be done online. I will guide you through the whole process and it will be easy! Other foreign nationals don't hear this myth about not being able to go but the same requirements apply:

-A tourist card/visa - airline gives you this once booked

-Itinerary and reason for travel.. that's it! And I will explain and provide guidance on all this when the trip is nearer.

Time to soak up Havana city
We will walk around las calles (the streets) of Havana to get a feel of the city, along with a tour guide who will later give us an insight into some history and culture. You will definitely get a taste of why Havana is such a mesmerising city!

Viñales day trip and cooking class
We will head out in the morning to Viñales, this is the region to learn about tobacco farms (Cuba is the of cigars!) , go horse riding and try local food.

Time to relax - it is the Caribbean!
We are in the Caribbean soo, we need to head to the beach and relax. Varadero is a nearby beach town, which we will head out in the morning and move to our next beautiful accommodation. This is also a rest day, so we will head to the beach and soak up some sun!

Let's see the natural side to Cuba
Varadero is close to so much natural beauty, it will be refreshing to see that side to Cuba! Get ready for a visit to a cenote, go snorkelling and take a river boat ride.

Back to Havana
After some rest at the beach, we will be back in Havana to enjoy some final days enjoying the city. This will be a rest day so once we arrive back you are free to rest or explore. We will have our farewell dinner & then attend salsa class in the evening.

If you came here from my Instagram then you know a little about me already. I am Nessa, British Nigerian and a bit of a nomad. I have visited 44 countries, lived in 5 different countries and speak 2.5 languages (working on that half language!). This trip was the most incredible 2 weeks! The itinerary was well planned with a good range of cultural activities, day trips, rest/relaxation days, and also was flexible enough to accommodate some extra requests we had. The hotel was stunning, the group of women were lovely and Nessa was a very attentive+organised host. It made the trip even more enjoyable and stress free not having to do any of the planning. It was my first group trip but definitely won’t be my last! Thank you Nessa 😊

As a black woman who previously had reservations around traveling abroad alone, I’m so so glad I pushed myself to travel to Tanzania– Zanzibar with Nessa was a trip of a lifetime! I had the misfortune of my airline losing my luggage. And I was PANICKED, okay? But Nessa helped me the whole way. She took me into town to get enough clothes and toiletries for a couple of nights until my luggage eventually arrived. Other ladies in the group were also incredibly kind and loaned me items as well. What could have put a damper on my entire trip ended up only being a tiny moment. I can’t overstate how refreshing everything was: the sisterhood, the culture, the vibes, the beauty of the island ✨ And now that I have one solo trip under my belt, I’m ready for the next one 💪🏾 Highly recommend one of her group trips if you can snag one!

This trip was a dream come true and I still can't believe its actually happened!! I'd like to thank Nessa so much for hosting us on this unforgettable epic trip!! Nessa had absolutely everything handled from the very beginning, we didn't have to worry about a thing. She provided all we needed for visas, covid tests, insurance, airport transfers you name it! She thought of every last detail and made sure every member of the group was taken care of. It was my first trip to Africa and I felt very privileged to experience this with Nessa and the other amazing women on this trip! The hotel was fabulous and we were treated with the most decadent breakfasts every single day. The trip was a mixture of beach fun, amazing food, getting lit, dancing, adventure as well as experiencing culture, traditional communities and animal conservation. There were also rest days to just relax if you needed to. All in all this was the most wonderful experience with the added bonus of making a bunch of new friends and genuine connections. If you are thinking of going on this trip, seriously just do it! You are in great hands with Nessa! You won't regret it! Can't wait to go on another trip sometime in the near future!

I had a wonderful time in Zanzibar. The hotel was very relaxing and the staff was amazing. Every detail of the trip was arranged for us which included excursions and transportation. Nessa was great at communicating about upcoming plans for the day or if the group had any questions or concerns. She is very flexible and accommodating when changes occurred such as spending more time at one place or skipping something. We even went to a nightclub that wasn’t on the itinerary and had a great time. This is a group trip so any changes done will be discussed as a group prior to, but nonetheless you free to participate with/without the group. Rest days were included to do things that I wanted to do that may not have been on the itinerary. I also celebrated my 40th bday (I don’t look it...lol) and she took the time out to have a cake, bed decorations and other small details done for my special day.Thanks Nessa for this memorable trip!!!
