      About this trip

Located on Hurst Island just northeast of the northernmost tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, God’s Pocket is an off-the-grid dive haven. The sites divers get to visit when diving God’s Pocket are said to be some of the best cold-water diving spots in the world and we cannot wait to take you there! Giant Pacific Octopus, Wolf Eel and the famous Grunt Sculpin are just a few of the animals you will get to encounter here.

While this is a spectacular dive destination, it is also a unique adventure that will require more experience than most of our group trips. Due to the cold and currents we could encounter, all divers are required to be dry suit certified with at least 50 logged dry suit/cold water dives and 100 total logged dives. Non-divers are welcome to join and will have a spectacular time hiking, boat riding, and exploring the Canadian wilderness.

Diving was great! Crew was awesome. Room/berth was horrible. Top bunk in a room with no window and no ladder to get into bunk

This trip was great from start to finish. I liked having 3 days on land prior to getting on the boat. The kayak trip through the Rock Islands was one of the many highlights of the trip. We would paddle for awhile then would jump in the water and snorkel. The snorkeling was great, lots of fish and colorful coral. It was a treat to be able to snorkel with the jellyfish. The diving was the best I have ever done. The coral was varied, colorful and very healthy. We saw lots of sharks and schools of fishes. The crew members of the Aggressor were fun, helpful and safety conscious. I would highly recommend the trip and can’t wait to go back!!!

If you want to spend most of your day in the water looking for all the BIG sea life this is the place to go! And not only having the amazing group Denver Divers, but having fins attached be a part of the group was such an amazing bonus. It was so much fun to watch marine biologists working in and out of the water. Being able to be a part of their story telling and just get all the extra behind the scenes details of what goes on in their world was incredible. Highly recommend this trip to hardcore diver! Trip of a lifetime for me, so happy to be a part of it!
