This tour begins in Lisbon, Portugal's capital, with a city tour that includes the famous Jeronimos Monastery and the artistic neighborhood of Chiado. You'll have a chance to experience the dramatic and popular music of Fado during our welcome dinner.

Next, we'll visit the charming town of Sintra with fairytale palaces. We'll enjoy the magnificent landscape of Cabo da Roca and end the day with beautiful coastal views of Cascais.

On our way to Porto, we'll visit the beautiful riverfront city of Coimbra, the former capital of the country.

We'll spent the remaining of the trip in Porto, the second most visited city in the country where we'll learn about its history and visit one of most beautiful libraries in the world. We'll also embark on a day trip to Douro Valley to visit a vegan-friendly winery and enjoy a river cruise.

• Entire trip cost is nonrefundable.

• We will refund payment (minus the deposit and card processing fee, see below*) if you find someone to take your spot. You will be responsible for finding the replacement to qualify for this refund.

* ALL refunds of any kind are subject to a 5% card processing fee which will be deducted from your refund amount.

Please note that this is a vegan/plant-based tour and the food provided will be fully plant-based. You do NOT have to be vegan to join this tour! We simply ask that you are respectful to your fellow vegan travellers.

You must be 18+ to join our tours! As long as you are 18+, you are more than welcome to join our adventure. It's hard to say the average age range, but it is most likely between 25-40. But we've had plenty of travellers 40-70+ and younger than 25!

Rose from Cheap Lazy Vegan will be your vegan hosts for this adventure!

Rose has been creating vegan content & recipes for over 10 years and created a large following of amazing vegans and vegan enthusiasts. She has been hosting vegan trips around the world since 2022 and this has been one of her favourite ways of connecting with her viewers while enjoying some of her favourite hobbies - travelling and eating!

This program includes one scheduled group airport transfer to and from the airport. Please keep in mind this tour starts in Lisbon and ends in Porto.

October 2: pick up at 1PM at Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon)

October 8: leave the hotel at 11 AM for Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (Porto)

Travellers arriving outside of the scheduled transfer times are kindly asked to arrange their own transportation to the hotel. Any associated costs will be at your own expense.

Arrive in beautiful Lisboa where you will be met by our driver and local guide at the airport to be transferred to our hotel. Transfer time is 1PM.

We’ll tour Portugal’s capital city including a visit to Belém where you will see the Jeronimos Monastery and the artistic neighborhood of Chiado.

Our welcome dinner includes a special Fado performance, a heart wrenching and traditional Portuguese genre.

Begin the day with a full-day guided tour to the enchanting town of Sintra. Explore the iconic Sintra National Palace, a landmark of the Romantic era, before wandering the town's charming streets. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Cabo da Roca — the westernmost point of continental Europe — to take in its breathtaking coastal scenery.

The day winds down with a visit to the picturesque seaside town of Cascais.

Hotel: Renaissance Porto Lapa Hotel or similar

We'll depart after breakfast for Porto, with a stop along the way in Coimbra, the historic university city that once served as the country's capital. Join a guided walking tour of its architectural treasures, including the renowned university and its famous library, followed by lunch and time to explore at your own pace.

We'll arrive in Porto in time for a special dinner to cap the evening.

After breakfast, we'll set out on a tour of Porto's historic center, taking in the Clérigos Tower, São Bento Railway Station, and the House of Filigree Museum.

Return to the hotel with time to relax and freshen up before heading out for dinner.

Following breakfast, we'll go on a scenic drive into the breathtaking Douro Valley, arriving at Cais do Pinhão. Then we'll enjoy a leisurely cruise along the river, drink in hand, before disembarking to visit one of the valley's celebrated wineries for a guided tour and a wine-paired lunch.

Return to Porto for a relaxing evening at leisure.

Today we'll visit Livraria Lello, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, with time to browse and a special chocolate and port wine pairing arranged just for our group. Spend the afternoon at leisure, perfect for last-minute shopping or a quiet coffee at a local café.

We'll close out the trip with a special farewell dinner!

Enjoy your final breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Transfer to Porto's international airport for your departure flight, or continue with your travels!
