The AME Vernon Chapel College Tour is an unforgettable educational journey that blends college exploration, rich Black history, faith, and fun. Students will travel through Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Ohio, visiting historic HBCU campuses that have shaped generations of Black leaders, scholars, and change-makers, while learning firsthand about the legacy, pride, and traditions that make HBCUs so powerful. In Atlanta and Ohio, students will experience the deep cultural roots of Black excellence and resilience, while in Philadelphia they will connect history and faith with a meaningful visit to Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the birthplace of the AME Church and a cornerstone of African American religious and social history. Alongside the educational impact, students will enjoy engaging activities, bonding experiences, and memorable moments that make learning exciting and creating a tour that inspires, empowers, and leaves a lasting impression both academically and spiritually.
