Audrey did an amazing job organizing a private tour of Friuli and Slovenia for us. She recommended activities that gave us a deep sense of the local culture. Do yourself a favor and see parts of Italy that are usually missed. We discovered Audrey’s website and reached out to her to see about a tour of parts of Italy that we haven't been to before. She contacted us and set up a video chat to discuss what we wanted to do and to see if her services matched our needs. We like to see not just the big sites but to experience the family owned restaurants, hotels and the places that the locals know about but are not always visited by travelers. She took over and planned a 2 week trip for our group of 6. She was open to revisions and requests after productive discussions. Her suggestions included small intimate hotels and B&B’s with breakfasts. Nothing was left for us to do but sit back and enjoy our vacation in Italy. We went to places and sites that were unknown to us but we are so glad to have visited. While driving she explained everything that we saw or what we would see. Ate at restaurants that were locally owned and as far as I could tell only visited by people that lived close by. Every detail was thought out, anticipated and executed without exception. She also became a friend. I was introduced to many experiences and learned so much about Italy, the regions of Italy, the history and arts of the locations we visited. The hotels, guest house and rooms with breakfast were all wonderful. Audrey "tuned in" to our needs along the way and selected incredible sites for us to visit. The guides she selected were all knowledgeable and open to questions and clarifications. The talk about WW1 was so informative.
