This city tour begins in the Manga neighbourhood, a residential area of Cartagena that is home to many luxurious colonial style homes. Our tour continues to Cerro de la Popa, a beautiful colonial monastery dating back to the 17th century where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire city and the Caribbean sea. From there we will continue on to el Castillo de San Felipe, an architectural military gem which is perhaps the most important one left by the Spaniards in all of America. Inside the castle we can explore 200 metres of tunnels that the Spanish troops used to move from one location to another during an attack.

Our next stop will be inside the Walled City where we will travel through time walking around the city centre to see popular attractions such as the clock tower, plazas, the cathedral, and other important sights. We will also pass by colourful colonial style homes, which are the perfect spot for a photo opportunity, before finishing our walk at las Bóvedas, which used to be used as mercenary storage and jail cells.

Finally, admire the impressive buildings around the modern districts of Bocagrande and el Laguito before bringing you back to your hotel.

Another is music, which we will learn more about inside the home of legendary artist Rafael Cassiani. Finally, the pillar which is less well known, and leaves us with the most questions is religion. The mix of religious beliefs and practices within the Palenque culture are very unique, such as celebrating death, mourning birth, and living each day as if it were a party.
