Our trip with Andeanface in January 2026 was a once-in-a-liftetime adventure for us. Climbing, hiking and mountaineering in the Alps has given us decent experience but we haven't been above 4500m before. We have done a lot of research beforehand and decided our first hike above 5000m should be on the volcanoes of Ecuador. The mix of sleeping in high altitude huts/camps and having the opportunity to rest properly in hotels after reaching each summit made it the perfect start into high-altitude hiking. The organisation and booking of the trip went very smoothly and we got lots of information from Andeanface in advance. With our guide Marco we felt save at every stage of our 7-day trip (apart from the sometimes crazy roads and south-american driving behaviour😅 ) and were able to complete our planned tour - climbing Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi and Chimborazo.

A wonderful experience I'll long remember. Romel is very experienced and guided us well, with a focus on our success and our safety. Supporting guides Mauricio and Diego were always there to help us and great guys. Aníbal the driver was always smiling. When I forgot my wallet at a park gate station (many hours from Quito), Romel and Anibal had it back in my hand the next morning. A great team and a great company!

This trip was phenomenal and I was incredibly impressed with the guides. Abraham truly made the trip. The value for what you are getting is unbelievable.

If I could leave more stars I would. First, I did not realize how much of Ecuador and the culture we will experience. We toured the entire country and experienced so much. The climbing was amazing and we were able to summit Cotopaxi and Chimborazo along with some smaller volcanoes which helped us acclimatize. The trip is superbly designed to climb and acclimatize and rest at lower altitudes at amazing accommodations. We had our own bus with us for the duration of the trip. Lastly the guide staff was amazing. Abraham was with us and available the entire trip. All guides were professional, personable and most of all safety oriented at all times. The logistics of the entire trip were precise and top of the line. I highly recommend Andeanface and I would g be surprised if I go on another of their trips in the future.

This was a unique experience. Chiki (Christian) was very friendly and helpful to everyone. He largely contributed to making this trip unforgettable. Mauricio who was my guide on the final day to the summit of Cotopaxi was very encouraging and attentive. Without his guidance I would not have made it to the top. Javier's recommendation of the hotel it Quito and the other logistics of the tip involving the accompanying ladies was very helpful. Overall, an excellent experience I highly recommend.
