While the routes are physically demanding, they are non-technical hiking routes. No climbing experience or specialist mountaineering equipment is required, although some sections may involve short stretches of easy scrambling.
Please read the day-by-day itinerary before booking, as it includes the walking duration, elevation gain, terrain and difficulty rating for each hike. The trail is steep and rocky in sections, gradually rising through forest, alpine meadows, and rugged high mountain terrain, with incredible views opening up at every turn. The trail takes us through forested paths and alpine meadows, gradually ascending 670 metres over 15.4 km — a moderate challenge, rated 2 out of 3 in difficulty. Once we reach the lake, we’ll stop for a well-deserved lunch at a charming mountain hut nestled right by the water, offering traditional dishes and panoramic views. After soaking in the scenery, we’ll make our way back. In the evening, you’ll have the option to visit a local spa for some well-earned relaxation.
Today’s hike is a spectacular mountain circuit leading us through some of the most stunning scenery in the High Tatras. This challenging route takes us up to a panoramic mountain pass at 2,314 metres, offering unforgettable views over sharp ridges and deep valleys.
