Mauro’s tour of Quito and stops on the road through the mountains to Mindo, including hiking in an orchid reserve and feeding hummingbirds, was a highlight of my time in Ecuador. He’s enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and professional. Whether we were discussing the history, anthropology, or the biology of the region, he had a wealth of information to share. He catered the day’s stops to my interests and maintained a pleasant demeanor throughout our adventures. I would highly recommend a tour with Mauro.
