This mission trip with Samaritan’s Feet International, in partnership with McLean Bible Church, will focus on serving vulnerable communities throughout the DMV area through compassion, relationship building, and practical support. Prior to the trip, McLean Bible Church will help collect shoes that will be distributed during outreach opportunities throughout the week.
The team will partner with Foster the Family in Maryland to support foster families and children through encouragement, service, and community outreach initiatives. In addition, the team will serve alongside Helping Up Mission at both the Women & Children’s Center and the Men’s Center in Baltimore. Ministry opportunities will include foot washing, shoe distributions, serving meals, building relationships with residents, and offering encouragement and prayer to individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction recovery, and difficult life circumstances.
Throughout the trip, participants will have the opportunity to grow spiritually while serving others in meaningful and practical ways. This experience is designed to combine hands-on ministry, community engagement, and the mission of sharing hope, dignity, and the love of Christ with every person encountered.
