Arrive and settle into your home base for the weekend - a lovely hotel tucked into one of Mexico City's most walkable, café-lined neighborhoods. Once everyone's checked in, we'll kick things off with a welcome dinner where the group comes together for the first time to enjoy good food, good conversation, and the start of new travel friendships! After dinner, the night is yours: keep it low-key back at the hotel, or join the group for an optional night out to see Mexico City's rooftop bars and nightlife come alive.
Saturday takes you to CoyoacĂĄn, one of Mexico City's most charming neighborhoods - cobblestone streets, colorful colonial buildings, and a lively plaza full of local vendors and street food.
Right in the heart of it is the Frida Kahlo House (Casa Azul), where you'll step inside the world of one of Mexico's most iconic artists. From there, we head to Xochimilco for a boat ride you won't forget to float along the canals aboard a colorful trajinera, with music, food, and drinks drifting by on neighboring boats.
The rest of the afternoon is free time; explore Coyoacån's markets and cafés, relax by the hotel pool, or venture out and discover the city at your own pace.
Sunday starts with a guided walking tour through Mexico City's Historic Center to wander past the ZĂłcalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and centuries of history packed into just a few blocks.
From there, the afternoon is yours: last-minute souvenir shopping, one more café stop, or simply soaking in the city before it's time to say goodbye.
We'll wrap up the trip together as a group in the evening with a goodbye dinner to swap favorite moments, trade contact info, and toast to a weekend well spent. It's not goodbye, though - it's "see you on the next trip!
